Wau - very good !
Fred - it is possible to use exactly the same colour textures for all vehicles of one nation ??? That looks so much better than ! My favorits are the T-54AM and SPW-70 shemata - they looks so good with the PC terrain - the dark green is a little bit confused for my eyes.
I think also - you can set more 45° view from above for all units - take a look at my units or the original PC unit - to see what I mean - looks more 3d than.

ok, I can try this ... but I'm not able to easily modify all the textures,
I'll try ....
for unit's angle of view, no problem, I will do that ... but I do not repost all of the units on the forum ....

I like it....

Yeah - thats it is ! This green + a little dirty brown looks perfect for me. Also the angle is better yet. Do you think - we need all units in the same scale like the original or in your smaller scale ? I dont know, both looking nice, but in relation with my original scaled infantry units, the vehicles looks to small !
Send me all finished work - I will set the parameters and test on Massis terrain on my first northern plain map .

Very good work ! The 3rd tank are to high - to mutch shadows in the forground - looks like he fly over the ground - all other looks perfectly ! The angle its OK yet - what is that 30° !?
First unit is ready - NVA Motschützen !
I used the flag graphic for the zoomlevel - its better - BTW you can't see the units in the zoom level, but with flags it works as a nice overview in bigger scenarios !

BTW - all modern Flags for modern war are ready !
and Massi - we need not 3 unit makers - you are our god of map tiles and map fine tuning !!! Do you work on the Luebeck map or not - than I will set its allone - we need a good test map yet !?
All unit parameters for the new units are finished yet (Thanks to Peoples General and my old mod for this game !) - but I dont have the map !

do not worry mike do not worry.. ok

Hi Massi
Can you do that befor you go on holiday ?
Here are first previews of the new Hero graphics for the modern war - I hope we can set different nations with the next PC addon !
NVA:
My uncle was commander - Lieutenant colonel of a Flak regiment and I will set him also in 3d. I think 3d figure pictures are more funny like original pictures - I think also better for the WW2.
BW:
SU: Motorized Rifles+Para+Tank-troops

If you want to make all correct you should either change the colour of the beret to green as the emblem is showing mechanized infantry (Panzergrenadiere) or you have to change the emblem to tanktroops and stay with a black beret.
Nevertheless - great work by all of you fine modders.

Oh sorry - I worked not with the correct texture - Error is eliminated !
Thank you ! Extra for you - an Major for the Panzergrenadiere:

Thanks but the Panzer-Hauptmann is just right for me. The Hauptmann and Major are looking rather old, more than Generals. May I ask for some younger looking officers?

OK first test screens: First units are full include yet.
I produced over 17 new sounds (the most from my old JTCS meets PG3D game) for modern units - rocket luncher, heavy tracks, AK-47 sound, Jet bombin and modern Artillery etc and I set the animation angels for this new units.
Big Thanks to Nick for his nice first tanks !
Thanks also to Massi - he create the first test map Lübeck with from my old JTCS meets PG3D WW3 map project - its only 2 % of the full map Massi !

Those units are looking really good (I do prefer to have unit glow off, though, since it gives the tiles a "washed out" look). One thing I'd change on the map: there are far too many Eiffel Towers in the urban area.

If you need to use that overlay for variety, maybe you could "photoshop" it out of there.
