When a unit gets a hero, some visual cue on the unit that allows you to know that the unit has an "enhanced" ability or "attribute".

How about 2 new infantry classes? Mortar crews and AT grenadiers. Mortar crews would have a range of 1 and could attack adjacent units without return fire plus can cause suppression (similar to a StuG). They would have higher SA value than typical infantry (maybe a SA of 7 or 8 and HA of 3; till the increase in a '43 version). They could even have the defensive support feature like artillery. The AT grenadiers would have higher HA and basically have opposite stats of the mortar crew (SA of 3 and HA of 7 or 8 ). They would be armed with Panzerfausts and have good initiative against hard targets (maybe also giving them the anti-fortress bonus that pioneers and fallschirmjager have).

Can you add actual profiles of navel vessels like BB classes Nelson, Ramilies, King Georgr V, Bismark, Iowa; BCs Hood, Renown, Repulse, Schornhorst; Ger Pocket BBs Deutchland; etc.?

What's the game scale?

I want :

Custom Sdkfz 11 built with :

1. Engineer bay - which can combine 2 resting unit into a single unit ( like the DAK did in Afrika, they put the 88mm AA on top of Pz III chasis )
2. Poisonous gas barrier layer ( using Sdkfz 11/2 )
thus we have also biological warfare which they can initiate by laying down some poison / massive weapons that can carried away by wind or being brought by soldier and infected an area :) haha...

terry out..

I need no units - can produce all by my self ! What we need are more features - an activ Mine laying feature or possible animations for all unit movements. And many many more !!!
The game PC is on stage 1 - I need stage 10 !

Sort of, but i doubt that the complete set of extensions to PC will have been released before christmas

I assume that only limited developer manpower is/will be available for adding new units to the game/expansions, and that this will translate in a limited number of new units.
So instead of wasting precious manpower on units which are just more of the same, i would rather see units which are:
  • - filling a 'gap' in the list of already available units
    - increasing the amount of tactical possibilities
    - being 'iconic'/'unique'/'ahead of their time'
I had something like this already in the back of my mind when i created my christmas-list, nevertheless i will review it and also try to explain my reasoning for adding the choosen units.

Updated 'Christmas wishlist' - Part 1

Transports
  • BMM 'Vollkettenaufklarer 38(t)' 'Kätzchen' (APC)
    - Fully tracked, able to keep up with tanks in mud/rough terrain
    - Considerably increased armor compared to SdKfz 250/251 (front/sides/rear[mm] 50/30/20 vs. 12/7/7?)
    - Very high road speed (64 km/h), highest cruising range (600km)
=> 1944 prototype, 1945/1946 replacement for Sd.Kfz. 250/251, can be added with the same rational as the Maus
Tanks
  • US: T26E1-1 "Super Pershing"
    - T15E1 90 mm gun (L/73)
    - Additional frontal armor compared to M26
=> March 1945 experimental tank, up-gunned and up-armored to combat the TigerII
Anti-Tank - Tank Destroyer (TDs)
  • US: T28 Super Heavy Tank / 105 mm Gun Motor Carriage T95
    - Originally designed to fight fortifications, similar to the 'Sturmtiger'

    - Most heavily armored (up to 305 mm), sloped design
    - Very low road speed (13 km/h), low cruising range (160km)
=> 1945/1946 experimental super heavy tank destroyer able to combat super heavy tanks (=> SecretService 'mouser')

GB: Tortoise (A39) Heavy Assault Tank
    - Originally designed to fight fortifications, similar to the 'Sturmtiger'
    - 'Ordnance QF 32 pounder' 3.7in (~93,98mm) L/65(?) gun, compared to the 'Sturmtiger' strong against mobile targets, weak against static targets
    - Very heavy armored (up to 228 mm)
    - Very low road speed (19 km/h), low cruising range (140km)

Artillery - Railway guns
  • 21 cm K 12 (E)
    - Highest range early war (115km)
    - Medium Payload (HE shell 108 kg / ? kg expl.), low rate of fire (6/h)

    - Smooth bore, uses 'Peenemünder Pfeilgeschoss' ('31cm SprGr 4861')
    - Highest range (151 km), medium payload (HE shell 136kg / 25kg expl.)
=> 1944 replacement for the '21 cm K 12 (E)', rate of fire most likely similar to '28 cm K5'

    38 cm SIEGFRIED K (E)
    - Heaviest caliber gun which could still use 'standard' railway tracks (besides the Adolf guns)
    - Basicly the same gun as in the Battleship Bismark but with a lower rate of fire (38cm SK C/34, RoF: 120/h)
    - Heavy Payload (HE shell 495kg / 69kg expl.), high range (55,7 km), rate of fire : 10/h (compared to 15 of the 28cm K5)
    => 1943 replacement for the 1940 '28cm K5 (E)'
Artillery - Assault guns
  • Sturmpanzer IV / StuPz. 43 (SdKfz. 166) "Brummbär"/"Stupa" - 15cm StuH. 43 L/12

    SE Pioniere 43
    - Missing SE variant of 'Pioniere 43'
    - Only battalion size, similar to the Wehrmacht 'Brückenpioniere'

    SE Fallschirmjäger 43

Tanks
  • Panzerkampfwagen V (Sd.Kfz. 171) Panther Ausf. F (Schmalturm)
    - Panther I-F and not Panther II, as the Panther II development was frozen (but most likely has influenced the (paper tank) E50)
    - 7,5 cm KwK 42/1 L/70 => same SA and HA values as the other Panthers
    - Decreased turret frontal plate area and more flat angle => smaller target => Increased GD
    - Using 'Topfblende' style gun mantle increases armor (100->150 mm) and removes shot trap (grenade bounces of the frontal turret armor and penetrates the hull top) => Increased GD
    - Increased turret front, side and rear armor (100->120, 45->60, 40->60 mm) => Increased GD
    - Increased turret roof armor (16->40 mm) => Increased AD
    - Increased minimum armor of the hull top (16->25 mm) => Slightly increased AD
    - Stereoscopic rangefinder => Increased first hit propability => Increased initiative
    - Close-in defense weapon "Nahverteidigungswaffe" in the hull roof (for 90mm NbK 39, but also allows use of pistol HE-frag grenades against surrounding infantry) => Increased CD
    - (Machine)Pistol port in the back of the turret => Slightly increased CD
    - Anti Aircraft machine gun mount in the commander cupola => AD of -1
    - Night fighting capability

=> 1945/1946 evolution of the Panther, can be added with the same rational as the Maus

Source: "Die deutschen Panzer 1926-1945", F.M.v. Senger und Etterlin
Source: "Panther Medium Tank 1942-45", Stephen Hart, Jim Laurier
    Source: "Panzer Tracts No.5-4", T.L.Jentz, H.L.Doyle
Artillery - Assault guns
  • StuG III-G 1944
    - Remote controlled MG replaces roof mounted MG => Increased CD
    - Using 'Topfblende' style gun mantle provides better ballistic protection => Slightly increased GD
    - Coax MG added to gun mantle => Increased SA
    - Close-in defense weapon "Nahverteidigungswaffe" in the hull roof (for 90mm NbK 39, but also allows use of pistol HE-frag grenades against surrounding infantry) => Increased CD
=> 1944 and last evolution of the StuG III

Just two for my wish list:

1. If you are going to have a desert campaign in North Africa, can you put in the Long Range Desert Group for the British? I'm not sure if you would call it a recon unit or a special forces unit. Probably a combination of the two.

2. Can you have a naval event before the North African landings? Just a chance to showcase the naval forces of Britain, Germany, Italy and France. Maybe make the outcome determine where/how each side starts in North Africa?

Oh, and a pony.

Since someone already mentioned the FW189 and that was a recon plane.
How about the Stork? Fi156.
A recon plane. Give it perhaps radarlike spotting?
