battle at the deli

TheGrayMouser 37/60
vs
finir 66/58

no camps sacked

we killed/routed the rebel CnC (field grade) (by the way , i really was out to get this guy, CnC in a light spear cavalry BG, and he kept charging into my steady pikes and WINNING every time , and then breaking off to do it again...we salute his audacity ...

we lost a wing commander (troop)

finir, let me know if this is accurate. thanks for the game!

Win for Archie... 30/52 Deadtorius 57/57

Removed a field general from play as well.

Deadtorius buckled the centre, with his pikes, but there was nothing his pikes could get to grips with after that.

Then my flanks closed in. Good fun game.

I had a slight advantage as I had recently used a simular army in LOEG.

Thanks for the game.

iandavidsmith 15/51 win
vs
PijusMagnificus 52/51 loss

pikes mixed with spear and archers where too much against an
all spear army , didn't hurt that i had lucky dice as well
thanks for the game. Ian

Battle of the Deserted Deli

batesmotel - 28/60
tofman04 - 48/46

Seems that ghod is on the side of the big BhaGels ;-). Both armies came along with Nabatean allies. The Nabatean allies pretrty much stalemated each other on my right flank while the Opposing phalanx crumbled faster than mine in the center. A combination of skirmishers plus foot of the phalanx and gueriilas defeated the opposing foot on my left flank while the skirmishing cavalry of the phalanx managed to delay the outflanking attack by Cavalry of the Army of of the Phalanx just long enough. On the last turn the vanguard of the flanking mounted was just in position to start taking my phalanx in the rear. Thanks for a good game.

The opposing (Tofman04's) Nabatean general was slain (2 flag?) as the only commander casualty. Neither camp was looted although Tofman04's cavalry of the phalanx had just reached mine.

Chris

May I point out that my name being in green on the above results is nothing to do with conserving the planet & all to do with envy.

Petran 1978 35/52
vs
Jayraider 51/51

a clean fight, nothing fancy, no tactical moves just line against line. The pikes managed to hold and win the day. Thanks for the fight.
