Let's just play and see how things work out. There are some good ideas in this campaign.

Not really, it will take me 7.16 turns to get both armies back to 500 each. 3 turns for two of you to have a one 500 , and 3 turns for one of you (you ) to have 2 500....

As for the tour of the East he he there is honour amonst Romans :), yet in the end the game is set up for me to be vs ironclad. it really makes no differnce to you how low either our prestige gets , only that you have more money than your barbarian comrades at game end.

i am thinking that there is almost zero incentive to bribe barabrians as it only reduces your prestige... maybe at end game if you already have a comfortable lead
Perhaps Davaouthojo can look at a change in the game mecahics regarding bribing rather than the combat. Instead of losing prestige perhaps instead the Romans only have a finite amount of money Say 300k.... You regenerate 100k every 2? turns but are capped at 3 or 400k. That way bribery might actually work its way into the game and we Romans can play king maker

For some reason I thought you gained 50pts a turn...but you are at 30 at the moment I think. Maybe it is time to pounce!!!

The Goths take advantage of the Western invasions to sneak across the border.....while the Franks have decided that hit and run tactics are preferable to pitched battles with Roman armies........did the Romans know the Franks were retreating?.....

The Emperor of the East has been killed, slain in his bath by one of his serving boys.

No turmoil, though, one of his senior generals deadtorius has immediately taken control.....indeed, the takeover has been so smooth that rumours abound that the martial new Emperor took an active role in ending the previous sybaritic regime.....though these rumours are not mentioned to his face of course......

Still awaiting 363 AD moves.....

Sassanid Persians take the opportunity to sneak across the border to Babylonia while the First Roman Eastern Army covers Constantinople. Goths make hay in Thracia while the rest of the barbarians lick their wounds....

Hmm, unless there is a game feature that troops can misunderstand orders, Army West 2 were to have moved to Solona , not Savaria

But note the restriction that a barbarian player may only have one army in Imperial territory at a time.
