Having problems downloading game... unrar. the file, put in the right location, gone into custom games... but no file.

C:\Users\peter\Documents\Slitherine\FieldOfGlory Scenarios\_ S&S - Fatimids vs Crusaders I

can anyone advise where I going wrong?

It seems everything right.
Maybe the only thing that doesn't match is the location of the "Documents" directory into the "peter" directory, while probably it should immediately be placed in the C:\Users\Dcouments\Slitherine\FieldOfGlory Scenarios.
But I'm not totally sure of it.
Maybe someone else with more specific software knowledge could help you.

I have the exact same location, with my name and all.
No problem for me. Sorry, can't help but thought it was worth mentioning...

Well spotted, reloaded, and after five attemps, clearing revamping, emptying the scenaro file... Going back to re downloading... It works.

Don't know how I manage to have a _ instead of a #.

Thanks for the games - and nice scenario, several tactical options

All 4 of my matches are in progress.

Since I don't own the S&S expansion, and the help FoG/ROR help doesn't list many of the weapon types, then I'm flying by the seat of my pants here! I really appreciate the FoW off because I'm making quite a lot of mistakes... especially with troops marked as missile don't seem to fire!

Dont worry about not owning SAS, I do and it isnt making it any easier

I think the feeling is universal. Lysimachos really put us to the test with all the troop types, the terrain and the set up.

Very interesting scenarios with unusual troop types and an important stream in the middle. I was able to control the stream in both battles and that proved decisive. Good games, Rom1944.

Great games played in great spirit by Petran. The 1st to finish was a real nailbiter where we were both 3 points from break on my final go and as soon as I got past the finishing line I only moved those units where I had to.... and a final anarchy charge (with poor odds) after I tried to end the game got the heart beating a little faster (the Crusader Knights remained steady).

Finally, thanks to Lysimachos for the excellent scenarios and interesting competition. It was my first time seeing anything of S&S and I really enjoyed it.

Both games were very exciting! Thanks Morbio and Lysimachos!

Outstanding work you've done. All my four games are very fun and exciting but bloody difficult.
Almost gives me a headache from concentrating so hard

First of all I’m happy to see the players are enjoying the scenarios and that the matches are quite balanced till the end.
My hope was just that of creating the framework for a lot of hard fought encounter.

In the next days I’m going to publish in the editor section 9 more scenarios regarding the S&S expansion, in order to make accessible all the work I did in the last 4 months.

To give everyone the possibility of having a detailed table of the results I opened a specific thread, as I said before, at this web page:

but if you prefer to be informed here I will regularly update and post the actual standings also on this thread.

Thank's to jim for the battles, the second one being much more contested than the numbers suggest.

In order to speed up the compilation of the result's table and to have a more comprehensive view of what's going on in every match I think it would be better to announce on the forum the results of every single challenge when it is finished, without waiting to complete the mirror match.
