A big new Beta build, with for the first time quite a lot graphical updates, will be released end of this week, we probably add another group of fifty testers at random out of the volunteer pool.
Intern we have been analysing Beta feedback, discussing more graphical eye-candy, adding extra game elements and building/balancing new scenario`s.

Nice model, will there be graphic effects such as shooting, fire and smoke? For example, the destruction of 8 out of 10 tanks, or the bombing of the city?

There will be various explosion effects to represent the damage done to the enemy, such as fire & smoke - or dirt kicking up when no damage was done.

I know it's a small thing and still a beta, but the name of the tank is to be "PzKpfw V Panther G".

i guess he meant sub-types like A and G and D, as it was in the original game.

Ah yes we have 2 different icons, one with and one without sideskirt armour. Not sure how much actual unit types we're using them for.

I guess there will be two or three units, as adherbal wrote, quote: "One With and One Without sideskirt armor."

EDIT: The "D" and "A" may differ only by statistics, the unit may look the same, "G"can have the side plates on the chassis.

At least two. Sometimes the differences between one "ausführung" and the next is so small that we didn't do a unique model/icon for each.
