Now you know perfectly well to ignore David's advice Lynda! Thank you for my lovely hat, it has come in very handy recentlydavidandlynda wrote:hi
as the playing wife of a wargamer its nice to know that you are buying and painting an army for your girlefriend. i started of with vikings in the days of wrg 6th addition and in 25m just becouse i liked them. i have a palmyran army in 15m and have played it in fog it gives a good feel for the rules .my first fog army was bosphoran.i have also used swiss and warring states (as it was painted up mostly in shades of pink for my daughter when she played in dbm) however these last 2 may not fit in with what you say she had in mind. what ever you decide to buy i hope you girlefriend enjoys playing and after a few games she may have different ideas about armys. i will be looking forward to seeing her progress as there are very few of us ladys playing and wish her lots of luck.
