Did they move grounds after australia batted?
That would be the same Austalia who lost 6 wickets for 60 runs on the same day.

Who said anything about Pietersen losing the test match

Neither did I imply it
I made an observation based on a personal opinion that he didnt bat properly (again)

That's the type of player Pieterson is. It's no good moaning about when he gets out cheaply, that's the way he plays.

I was so pissed off with Strauss' comment about it being a funny old game. If 22 of us got together it would be a game, it is his JOB, and one he gets paid very well for compared to a nurse, doctor, cop, fireman, teacher or military.
I doubt Ponting or any other test captain would have been so cheerful after being routed in just over 3 days or so.

Thats the excuse that he gives. Does not wash really, as it traslates as "I could be an all time great, but on a regular basis I play crap which means I am only ever going to be an average test player. I don't have to regularly throw my wicket away as I could put in the effort and discipline to bat well at all times but to be frank, I can't be arsed".
Which is a shame considering he has so much talent - am afraid the best verdict that will be given on his career is 'could have been better than Ponting - but he wasn't, which is his own fault'.

Trouble is he palys sensibly to start with in first gear. Then he thinks he's got his eye in and goes stright to top gear!
