Perhaps they are waiting for a guy in a red suit to deliver them to their warehouse and then they will ship.

I do hope your copy came today.

They have been doing great for 3-4 years now for my group and I. IMHO, it sounds like demand has/is outpacing supply and or the planned for supply was too small to begin with. We use Amazon, USA over here.

What is the best way to buy a Swiss force -- armoured, unarmoured, or a mix? Minimum arquebusiers or lots of them?

Elite attack columns or Superior? (I assume Elite but thought I'd ask.)

Elite would cost a lot of points and if your fighting non-historical with muskets they get lots of chances to shoot your elites down, they die just as easy as poor when shot at, but are much better in melee. Arquebus is shorter on range than the musket but you can close up on those poor guys pretty quickly, unless they are lights and run every time you charge them.
I would say comes down to personal taste but it is nice to have the numbers over a very small elite army I would think.

The theory I heard is that the best Swiss army in there is the French army.

When faced with a choice like armoured or unarmoured.....I bought both, mixed them up and painted them mixed up. Then I could use them as either, by putting whichever in the first row(s) as called for. We are using movement trays with labels, attached to the backs of the movement trays.

I'm used to amazon.co.uk not being the most reliable website for FOG books, but this fiasco with T&T is getting a little ridiculous, how have they managed to mess it up this badly?

As of today...USA airports that receive international flights (as from the UK) have been and are closed due to snow. THAT means my Warlord Games goodies are delayed after getting into the air. Hey, they were turned over to the Ryal Post in a timely manner....THEN THE BLIZZARDS came....to the UK. AND, now it's our turn on THIS side of the pond.

Hi there, just a slight edit...........make The Royal Post :?

Amazon UK finally delivered today. Some nice variations but 'Henrician'? Seems a bit much given that 'Later Henrician' covers 1540-1558!

Agree, Middle Tudor might have been a better title.

Meant to say, mine finally arrived Monday.

Italian Wars French from 1534 looks interesting. For 60 points you can have a GBG of French Foot. They will be Poor but solid supports and bulks up the AP.
