No problem with my confusion, cause I'm confused since the beginning (the topic not my birth !!!!)...I understand point of view of Nick, Dave and you...regards of the "If not..." of the page 76...But with that I do not understand the evade part of page 78...letting us think about a possibility of 90° turn on an enemy who is engaged to his front...cause it's the case Lch, etc etc... can't evade...it means it's a possible case...but you're not supposed to turn cause you're in overlap...there is fog in my mind (that's funny, fog....) let's say at least haze !!!!

je pense que ta confusion vient de la double negation de la page 78

if the ennemy are non shock cavalerie , camelry or lch enttirely 1 base deep, or skirmishes and ARE NOT ALREADY IN CLOSE COMBAT OTHER THAN ONLY iN OVERLAP, they can evade....

cela signifie bien que la cav ne doit pas être en combat autre qu'en overlap pour pouvoir esquiver. Si elle est en combat frontal ellle ne peut pas .

J'ai bien compris Olivier si elle est en combat frontal (c'est que toi t'es en overlap)...elle ne peut pas évader....mais en aucun cas on t'empèche de te tourner....puisqu'on étudie le cas...tu vois où le bas blesse !
