All Cavaliers (and Gendarmes) - they don't get any opportunity to stop pursuing if they are still in contact. If they have lost contact they have to pass a CMT to stop pursuing.
Determined Horse, Horse etc. are easier to stop - same rules as FOGAM.
This is the main difference between Determined Horse and Cavaliers. Determined Horse cost more because of it.

I assume the French are impact foot becasue thet have bayonets. Do they remain MF? Do musket armed ever become HF?

No, they are Impact Foot because of their tactical doctrine. (From Louis XIII onwards, long before bayonets)

Yes - which is largely irrelevant as they still mostly have integral pikes.
Do musket armed ever become HF?
No, but MF with bayonet become less vulnerable to cavalry in the open.

In the WSS, blue coat, red cuffs, silver buttons and lace and Royal livery for the musicians. Line cavalry will work.
Mousquetaires and Grenadiers a Cheval are more difficult.
Thinking back on this I believe the Carabinier also had white metal back and breast plate at this early period - IIRC they abandoned them during the course of the WSS.
