You do have two teams from Halifax in don't you? I've entered with one
Dave - the latest spreadsheet I have has you entered as an individual, but I'm not one of the organisers so it's probably just out-of-date. Means we're up to 10 teams

Well I can do any theme, don't have a team, so don't have an entry*. Anybody need a slightly below average player (based on last outing*)
Phil, there is currently one individual entrant who wants to enter Pool2, so feel free to enter as an individual and I will put together a "mercenaries" team.

Confirmed entrants now at 14 teams. There are also a few individual entrants so we're looking at a probable 16 teams at the moment, which is well up on last year. R&R will be posted on here once confirmed - the week before the competition.
Best

Numbers now firming up for this comp. There are 18 teams entered, although at least 2 have a player short at the moment. If there is anyone who still wants to enter & is happy to make up the numbers in one of these teams, please PM me. I'm particularly looking for people to play in the Ottoman period
Best

18 teams, that is a good showing. It will make Derby the biggest team comp yet for FoG (Campaign was only 14 teams this year).

Up to 20 now, but that will be it as we've run out of room. There are still 3 teams with a player short, so if anyone wants (or knows someone who may want) to enter as an individual to make up the numbers then there's still time. I'm short in pools 1 & 3

I would be interested in putting in an army for Period 1 (Classical).
However, the entry form says closing date is 2th of september.
It also only contains a postal address which due to the short timescales might be risky.
Are places still available. I can submit immediately if they are.
Either post here or my e-mail is

Hi Paul,
There have been a couple of drop-outs and I am now at 18 confirmed complete teams plus an outstanding York team who may or may not be coming. At the moment it's looking doubtful that I can accomodate you, but things change! Let me get back to you in a day or so, although I appreciate that you will not want me to wait until the last minute!
Regards

Yes, same place although you will recall that there are several other competitions and they tend to get moved around to accomodate numbers. I have been advised that "the gym is almost full", although I'm not clear what that translates to compared to last year.

Grrrrrrrrrrr @ Mr Ruddock !!
Is this a Dave vendetta?
To be fair I've calmed down on the runners and riders front. But I'm still as frantic as ever on competition days.
What period are you in at Derby Dave?
