and does not load the game.

Open the settings.txt with wordpad or some other text editor and disable sound and music by making the following changes and saving the file.

NO_SOUND_EFFECTS 1
NO_MUSIC 1

Restart the game and let's know what happens.

Hello, sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for the help, I installed commander gold version and then the expansion GS 1.02 from scratch and I get the following error:

gold version works correctly but I gives me this error expansion.

If anyone has problems please post to the tech support forum and start a new thread. It is almost impossible to deal with them hidden away in a long thread like this I only stumbled on it by accident!

Don't use the default location with the installer. You need to change the install location to the folder where you have CEAW gold installed. First though, you need to uninstall GS before reinstalling it.

I just installed the PC version of CEaW again. Do I need any other upgrade before applying the Grand Strategy (1.12) v1.02 mod?

You need to get to v1.12 of CEAW. Then you can install GS v1.02 and finally you can install v.103h incremental patch.

Nope. Just run the GS v1.02 installer assuming you have the vanilla CEAW v1.12 installed.
