Having had this just a couple of days, it's fun though predicting how troops will move etc. is sometimes not possible. Paid supplements are reasonable if the total price is.
I bought all the TT books for completeness for reference, given a large time/cash investment in period miniatures, and because the system has legs. As a computer game, however, an aggregate added cost for all expansions of more than $40 (25 Sterling?) is what I'd budget (and please in no more than 4 installments!), and that will be too much for some people. The disadvantage of lots of packs is fragmentation as to who has what, which is a negative for the series.
