this force then turned the enemy left flank, and one by one routed off the enemy foot , weakened by the Turks

the catalan center was protected by broken ground, and took some damage from the enemy knights who tried to turn their flank , but not in time

Armchair Heroes vs Herd of Kiwi, Period 4

angusosborne (Berber) defeats carpenkm (Aragonese) 45-19

We both had comfortable defensive positions either side of a stream, but the Berbers had set up wider than the Aragonese. When the Aragonese mounted moved to their left I attacked on the left, while meanwhile comprehensively winning the skirmish, with the help of Muslim Cavalry (I love having a few really cheap cavalry units by the way).

It was looking like it would be a very close game as the Aragonese were steadily winning in the centre, but I think the decisive moment was when Military Order Men-at-Arms charged into Veteran Muslim Spearmen, lost, lost the cohesion test, panicked, and then broke on contact next turn when charged by really cheap Muslim Cavalry.
