Well, nothing to die for I would say: 15 KV2, 20 AT1 and 20 BA10. Your choice to restart this (but remember to load the final save of the previous scenario, otherwise the fixed LUA won't load) or skip it.

I played Kiew yesterday. Well, its the second time in 1941 that mass encirclement no longer works. I see your point in making it harder to conquer the city als secondary objective, but some maps were originally designed for encirclements. If you play ~15 maps in a year for me its better to have some unique battles you will remember. Creating a huge circle from time to time is more entertaining than only move vom left to right or right to left and kill everything.
That is the biggest problem in
1946 imo, there are too many maps where you always do the same.

If you dont like encirclements you could add some more heroes "no supply" for the russians to make it harder again.

Fortunately I could collect 100 KV 1940 yesterday, so I am prepared now :)

Yep, you are right I am not a big fan of mass encirclement, at least how it works in this game seems to me too artificial, so I do not bother too much about it, besides you can always trap and encircle many units during the scenario... I love geographic accuracy instead and in many scenarios my focus has been just to give justice to this aspect: in particular Kiev1941 has been really difficult to adjust to some kind of accuracy (just compare the vanilla map and this one in the editor and you will notice the difference), even at the cost of sacrificing mass encirclement

Just finished 1941.
Well, its definately worth for another playthrough when you got bored of the vanilla DLCS.
I cant really say if its better or worse, its just a bit different. Imo the vanilla DLC was already great, so its hard to improve it even more :)
Like I mentioned before I somehow miss the encirclements, but its not a big deal.
Unfortunately it was far too easy. It might has to do the the hero script. When you always go for the 5k ones you will have less heroes, but only very good heroes. I am kinda poor now, around 25k prestige, compared to the vanilla runs, and that might get a problem in the next years, but my core it extremly powerful. Especially artilelry is too strong with some of the new super heroes, too many good heroes like camo and more range.
I would say the maps need some elite enemies, like in Ao 1944. Overstrength combined with some strong heroes.

I am playing David vs. Goliath btw.

I will start 1942, lets see :)

Well, in fact you'll find much more changes moving forward with the campaign, in the early years I wanted to adjust more or less only the maps trying not to change the original spirit of the series, but moving on the problems you noticed (basically the player becomes too strong) actually become crucial and the campaign risks becoming boring, so I had to do something more in this regard... thanks for your inputs and let me know how do you find the rest of the campaign, by the way I guess you'll have troubles with David vs. Goliath 8)

Right now i am receiving an error after Demjasnk. Only happens when I go to france to assist galland. Kummersdorf is working fine. Any ideas?

Well, I checked and it works fine for me, so we have to proceed by trial and error to understand how to make it work... in the meantime I ask you: do you only have this mod loaded? If so, you can try replacing the Cerberus scenario file with the vanilla one (but not replace the LUA), since I only made cosmetic changes other than changing the prototypes available at the beginning (FwA3 and not FwA1).
In fact, we noticed that the system for some reason did not recognize the A3s as prototypes and therefore we had to add a special function in the LUA to add them automatically at start. If the problem remains even with the original scenario, LUA will need to be investigated more thoroughly, but I repeat it works for me so I guess it will be difficult to find the problem.
If this try does not work you can even try to load the vanilla LUA as well, but you will miss th A3s, the hero script at start and most of all the very critical fighter hero Priller if you sink the Uk battleships. Not a big deal, frankly, so it's worth a try to save the changes.

I reinstalled the mod ==> no effect
I replaced the map file with the vanilla one ==> no effect
I replaced the lua file with the vanilla map ==> map is working

Anything else I could do?

Looks like I fixed it myself or at least I found a work around. I searched for "Fw190A3" in the lua script and changed it to "Fw190A" twice. The maps starts and I get 30x FW 190A when invest my commendation points.
Also the hero script works and btw. that dude looks ridiculously overpowered ;)

Do you think I can go on like this or could I run into errors sooner or later ?

weirdly map is running fine for me. I´ll need to have a closer look at the LUA. i suspect some spelling error.

Edit:
A unit snuk into AOredone42. until fix just activate the PC1remake mod to prevent the crash.

Use the PC1 Remake equipment file and you won't have more problem of this kind... as for Priller, he will soon become your life insurance believe me :D

Just activate the PC1 remake mod in the modmanager, that should solve the issue.

I finished operation Ceberus yesterday.
I am kinda disappointed that there are not more ships which I saved in sealion 1940 ;) Would have been nice to see the bismark one more time.
That british battleship kicks ass with double fire and range of 7-8 hexes. Tbh I had to cheat and give the Scharnhorst 10 HP. I realized too late the strength of that ship and could not take it out in time :(

Unfortunately the mission is not working like intended, but thats not your problem, it never was on the vanilla map.
You do not really have to protect the ships, just kill the planes you see and everything is fine. I do not even know in 75% of the turns where my ships are. And the three ships are driving like crazy, the Scharnhorst almost reached the end of the map 10 turns early while the rest was still stuck in the channel.

The fighter hero is crazy like I already said :D

Well, I never liked this mission (a sort of scripted one with naval warfare, hard to work well in this game) and one of the reasons I added Priller is precisely to have a serious motivation to do it :D Anyway you could still track the ships with a reconnaissance plane, perhaps escorted by a fighter with Camouflage hero...
Think about Priller as a molossian to chase away intruders, soon you will have a mission where you can appreciate his Quadruple Gun 8)

I combine Priller with Bärmann on the FockeWulf. These unit doesnt care about David vs Goliath :lol:
