One just wonders if the developer does not have enough love for their game to spend a day to implement all of the work prepared for them. It would be a shame if not all people even those not active or even registered on the forums could benefit.

Yes, one would hope. But there are unknown circumstances that could prevent this and, frankly, perhaps even pride of place. What professional developer wants to have a community member figure something out for him instead of appearing to be the genius, hard at work, earning his pay, playing deus ex machina?
