Yup booked two nights I have no idea what its like just a standard travel lodge. Quite close to the location.

If it is the one a mile or so from the venue then there is a decent pub on the other side of the car park and a McDonalds next door.

A Big thank you to everyone who came up to Glasgow for my event.

Hi everyone

Competed at Schiltron 2009 over the weekend and it was worth the long trip. Thank you to everyone who took part, my opponents (John Munro, Mark Taylor, Hunter Hope and Paul Johnston), George Dick who organised the event and entertained us over a meal, and my co-pilot Dave Redhead for helping pass the hours in the car.

I hope to bump into some of you next month at Britcon.

Congratulations to paul who came from nowhere in the last round to pip me at the post. Still kicking myself though in that when george called time I just finished off my combats that could make a difference and was totally oblivious to the fact that i could have walked into Hunter's baggage which would have given me an extra point or two. Well there you go.
