The Southern army deployed in a plain beyond 2 hills over which came the North. Not wanted to fight uphill the South waited anchoring one flank on a river and patch of woods. Once the lines engaged it was a fluid and chaotic battle with groups of knights from both sides charging through the lines. It was very close until the Southern knights regrouped and came back for charges from behind and on the flank of the Northern line. Well played and fun game.

Well played to you good sir. Certainly a nailbiter! The capture of the standard wagon was surely decisive in staving off defeat for the Easterners.

kronenblatt's Central army with Arab allies attacks AKvGoeben's Eastern army with Southern Allies in Salerno. The Eastern army is victorious, winning 51-60. A very hard fought battle on all accounts, arguably decided by the Eastern army's massed cavalry on its right wing, which overwhelmed their counterparts and relieved the beleaguered infantry in the centre.
