In this case that you as a user can actualy change the same settings, it makes even less sense to me to "accuse" this forum as unfriendly. (yes yes user unfriendly, that is what I mean).

For example, I LOVE the black text on grey background, would it be fair for me to say that this is the most user friendly forum because of it?

As for the books, they are printed on white background because it is far cheaper than having coloured pages.

I understand how you might not like the black on grey, but you can change that! :D
Ok, I will do this reply and then rest my case. My initilal concern was that there would be no Legion Arena online and in that thread i BTW wrote about the look of the forum. I understand now that some of you did not have the problem I had and maybe some of you are so good-eyed (?) that you gladly read black on dark grey. For me, that is not the case.

As to books I don't say anything more than that I disagree about the reason for white paper and black text.

As for me saying that the forum was user unfriendly I still say that but I think I do not put as much negative weight in the wording as you do. For me it was only a suggestion for Slitherine to improve the forum. And ok, I could, obviosly change the colours but HTF should I know that if I changed the forum settings to Slitherine (even if it already was Slitherine) the colours would change? If people know that it is a problem, the solution could be given, that is user friendly! I do not think that this kind of forums should be a playground for computer nerds who I know have a tendency for overdoing and complicating things but thanks again honvedseg who helped me.

And finally, I think that Iain understands the problem and will take whatever actions he deems fit (even if that should be no action at all) and with that I rest my case.

Valera is looking into it and hopefully will work out the problem :)
