Oops sorry, I focused on the 4 week deadline and missed the three stage process and simultaneous battle starts. We had beeter hold off play to stay in line with everyone.

Sorry bates, I messed up. I can't attack Phrygia from Armenia, I must attack it from Kappadokia! My apologies, this I think means you need to choose a different attack?

Apologies at my end too, Chris: I should have seen it, but it was just before bedtime when I PM'd you that it was your turn and pasted Snuggle's attack into the first post.

I believe that your only available attack is now to attack TomoeGozen's Syria from your Kilikia, with army of either Phrygia or Kilikia.

I don't know if it's of use, interest, or entertainment to anyone, but please feel free to download an Excel spreadsheet with the satrapy and ally armies and their units HERE.

If you enter the applicable armies in the Own and Enemy tabs (in cells B2 and B3), you'll get a simple summary and comparison of the two armies in the Comparison tab.

All possible attack declarations have now been made, with the last three players not having any opportunities to declare attacks themselves. But they will get to fight battles nevertheless...! I suspect though that we may see some early-round eliminations of some of us twelve since each player controls only two satrapies at start. We'll see: it's all part of Dividing the Spoils, since sometimes spoils aren't really divided to everyone...

4. Malabar26 attacks Doyley50 using army of Baktriane. Attacker satrapy Baktriane, defender satrapy Areia.
5. Giacofa93 attacks Malabar26 using army of Paropamisadai and Indian 500 BC - 319 AD allies. Attacker satrapy Paropamisadai, defender satrapy Sogdiane.
6. TomoeGozen attacks deeter using army of Syria and Arab 312 BC - 299 AD allies. Attacker satrapy Aigyptos, defender satrapy Makedonia.

Setting up the battles

• Battles are fought using the Dividing the Spoils v4 module and the armies therein (make sure that you've downloaded version 4 of the DiSp2 module for MP battles, see Technical specifications and preparations in the Rules).

• The defender creates the challenge (with himself always as Side B) by August 11 at the latest and thereafter sends a PM to the attacker and makes a post in this thread.

• Module: Dividing the Spoils v4 (click Select another module).

• Armies:
  • The attacker uses the army that he specified in his attack declaration.
  • The defender uses the army of the defender satrapy.

• Scenario: Custom Battle - Open Battle.

• Force size: Large (1600 FP).

• Map size: Wide (40x32).

• Map type: from defender satrapy's available terrains as selected by the defender (see second post of this thread).

• No map re-rolls are allowed.

Resolving and reporting the battles

• Players commit to concluding their battles by September 8 at the latest.

• Any battles not concluded by then risk being resolved by adjudication.

• The defender reports the outcome of concluded battles in this thread, specifying who won (if any), the casualties, and if any C-in-C's fell during the battle (important since it matters for when tournament will end).
  • Example: Aetius39 beat kronenblatt 48-21, with Aetius 39s C-in-C killed in battle.

The hard pressed army of Syria (having sent many of it's men on a 'diplomatic' mission to Makedonia...) has responded to the threat from the army of Kilikia. Many allied Greeks will be arriving from Kyrene to aid us. Not wishing to get too thirsty before the fight, we will meet on the well watered agricultural plains.

You've created the challenge using version 3, which is the incorrect version for DiSp2.

You should use version 4 (have you downloaded it yet?). So please cancel that challenge and create a new version 4 challenge. And yes, Illyrian allies would be allowed since you control Makedonia.
