Brian, you have been invaluable in setting up and running the events. As team leader, you are proactive and very helpful both to team members and to me as organiser.

So I hope that you will stay on in the role!

that was intended as a mark of respect for how well you have lead your team through some tough and entertaining rounds of combat. Please don't step down, I've been enjoining the banter and your allocation of rewards to your successful generals, as have the other players.

Well after our very friendly chat, with a few laughs thrown in, at the Wargames Club today, where I reminded you that it was you who told me to play the Ottomans :) all is well.Thanks for your kind comments Andre.
We both agreed that Alan's double timeline with Players being able to swap around, or not, as they wished seemed a novel new approach to our Events.
