Isn't this pretty much the same functionality as OOB's Teams Share Victory Points?
Maybe I'm missing something here...

It would be really useful to have this option for OoB WWII and I think it would not be very difficult to program.
Yeah, good idea and nice example! :D

Not when it comes to deployment, I'd say. In OoB the faction flag does not count towards team's deployment options.

About these restricted deployment zones, I think that the trigger shown by GabeKnight + some markers/flags on map + few words about it within the briefing shall do the trick! 8)

Complicated...

 It may depend mainly on how many of these DZs we're expecting...

If these DZs can be divided into just two big sectors, perhaps like the North for the English and the South for the American, it may then be "only" one trigger for each nation, roughly in their respective restricted center and each time target an hex which may not correspond to any real marker/flag on map, but with a high value of distance on order to "block" a big sector...

Then markers/flags on map can be just added to indicate where to deploy troops (on which beaches, etc.)... more for the player's information than anything else...

And, an "usual" set of deploy hexes is to be put.

Then, a single sentence in the briefing warning the player about this should be enough while it shouldn't be much of a problem to add.

Finally, there are the 2 events to pop-up each time if needed (one per faction)...

Something I've forgotten here?

ColonelY,
I think you about covered it.
I'll let you all know how it works.

Gabe,
Rather like this; a quite simple setup IMO:
You were right. The trigger you showed as an example works just fine. I think I am being lazy now, if I'd worked on it long enough I'd have figured it out. But I'd probably still be working on it,
So thanks again!

The trigger works just fine. It prevents the units from deploying in the restricted zones and allows deployment of units not restricted.
Now, I'm going to make a restricted zone for Terminator.
