I am in this tournament since it was first announced, but I'm not seeing my name anywhere on that tourney's page and have not received any notifications or emails. Have I fallen through the cracks?

I am finding the multiplayer server making this tournament unplayable. My latest turn is showing that it is waiting 15 minutes to upload. Either the server has the turn but is not responding to say that, or the server should have timed out. Others seems to be also having strange behaviour from the server. Shouldn't the tournament be suspended until the server is working properly?

I am not sure that is possible, but I will look into it.

I am registered as participating in the tournament and have the setting to receive PBEM notifications on but I didn't get an email telling me the tournament had begun. I only noticed it had when I saw other players starting to score points on the tournament scoreboard, so went into multiplayer and had my turn. I have received nothing back from my opponent, and while it could be co-incidence and they are just being slow, if they haven't received email notification either they probably don't even realise we are up and running. is this a widespread problem?

I didn't get notice of the tournament starting either, and I have drawn that to the attention of the PBEM managers. However, I did get notification when my opponent had done his first turn, so I expect your opponent will have by now received an email.

Apologies, I misread your query.
If you are not on the tournament list then I fear you have indeed "fallen through the cracks".
Did you check that you were on the list of names after you originally joined the tournament?

I have scanned the master list and the first matchups and don't see my name. I enrolled and was accepted when the event was first announced and heard nothing since. Any chance of being added? Very disappointing.

Is the large number of people (260+) attending this tournament putting too much pressure on the MP servers, or are the recent problems with uploading turns (that I've too experienced Monday evening and Tuesday morning) completely unrelated?
Does server capacity need to be increased, or weekday needs to be fixed?

I'm having a user name issue for FOG II (appears my FOG II user name differs from my Slitherine one which I used to sign on to the tournament) which Slitherine Support is working on I hope but as yet I've been unable to receive any games. I'm hoping that once they change the FOG II user name to conform to my Slitherine one the games will appear, if not is there a way of having them sent through once the issue is resolved?
I apologise to my first opponent Marius Leitdorf in case he is out there.

I checked the tournament page again and it definitely shows me as entered but nowhere am I listed (as far as I can tell) on the master list or paired up for a match. It says 261 players have entered, so I am either the odd one out or there is someone I can play to make it 262 players.

Where are you seeing this Deeter? I wasn't aware that you could see the list of entered players after the tournament started (other than on the scores page).

For whatever reason (he forgot about the tournament, server problems, etc.) my opponent has not started his mirror game yet, and he has not replied to the one I started by deploying my army.
Assuming the worst case (that he never starts either game), is my reading of the rules above correct that 1) as I will not be the timed-out player, I won't be dropped from the tournament, and 2) my total score for this round will be 150 points (2 x 75 BYE score)?

I have become alarmed because players are showing results and I haven't seen a challenge for myself. Don't mean to trouble you with this if there is a tournament organizer I can contact.
