First of all, great job getting this together!
Second, this might be somewhere but I can't find it, so asking this: does the attacker lose their province if they are defeated by the defenders, or just the defender keeps their province and only attackers gain?
Thanks!
Aetius
As Karvon says. It's in the
Effects of battle outcome part of the rules (second post of this thread).

Are we waiting until all attacks are announced before defenders set up the games? Presumably defenders should PM their opponent when the game is set up?

Yes, let's do that. Now it's only three left:
deeter,
Blagrot, and
Aetius39, who can announce attacks. Then we're off to the battlefields.

Good idea, thanks! Added to the rules:
- When the challenge has been created, the defender, for information, sends PM to attacker and posts in tournament thread.

Just a suggestion, but maybe instead of each player having a full day to make an attack, once a player makes his declared attack the next one in order can immediately do it? Probably would cut the declaration time several days (and get to the good part; the battling

)

True, that's how we do it (from the PM to you guys):
Once a player above has announced an attack, then player next in line is free to announce attack, up to his/her deadline.
Next in line is
deeter: you can announce attack already now.

I take it that you then also use the
army of Atropatene in your attack? And
no allies? (You've got Georgian 331 BC - 252 AD allies available to you, through your control of Atropatene.)

I've just noticed that Chris has staked a satrapy that is not adjoining Hyrkania. Is that correct?

Very observant, Dave! No, it's not correct: Chris/batesmotel must stake a satrapy that is adjacent to the one he's attacking. Which results in Parthyaia. Ok, batesmotel?

Oh, and
to all eight of you: ensure that you have the latest version (
v2) of Dividing the Spoils installed. (For next round, we will need to update it, since I saw some errors still on the allies side wrt available allies, but not for this round, ok?)

Also, I don't think I can attack this turn, as two of my satrapies are attacked and the remaining one can only attack Phrygia, which is already attacking.
So there isn't anything else I can do, right? If so, let the battles commence!

Kronenblatt defeats TomoeGozen 45-19% and takes control over Baktriane.
How did you find the two opposing army lists, TomoeGozen? For example; were they sufficiently different with local variation?
