I'm in as well, if OK (although as previously noted will be away August 8 -15), having 'selected' the following army lists by random:

OK, we have 14 players signed up, so two 7 player divisions. Players were sorted into divisions based on last season's posted DL ranking. Those unranked were sorted into divisions based on order of sign-up. Armies were assigned based on the same order. Only Snugglebunnies and I missed our first choice. You will play each person in your division once for a total of six games this season. Please review the initial post for the other rules. As we have six games, we'll have the minimum time span of 8 weeks to finish, so let's try to have all games wrapped up by Oct. 5.

I was totally outmanouvered at the start of this game quickly finding cavalry and an elephant in my rear but my skirmishers managed to deal with the elephant and the resilience of my quality mediums kept me in it some how until the spear got in on the action and slowly wore the Carthaginians down.

Hard game that went back and forth several times. He could have tied it up if he had one turn left. Those mediums put up a good fight against my heavies. GG!

I managed to grab a small but strategically useful hill that allowed my spear to resist the Spartan hoplites long enough for my extra lights and mediums to make the difference by disrupting stuff and getting around the flanks.

OK, so I'm back from my hiking since yesterday morning. Is there currently any challenge issued for me that I haven't yet picked up? (There was a multitude waiting for me, and I could only accept five per day or something... )
