Hello Akkula, if you have time. Would you please check the nation of Israel again. It seems there is something wrong with the position of the flag. When creating a campaign, I couldn't buy any units even though I provided enough. I wanted to depict the Yom Kippur War in a campaign. The units are there in the editor and I can set them up.

I've modified a few things to make it work, but if I published this campaign the players wouldn't be able to use it because it wouldn't be compatible with the original MC.
Thanks and greetings

Hi Toby,
Israel has its slot in the mod only to use the F-16s in one the missions of the Syrian Campaign. Is not intended as a playable nation.
Also, by game coding limitations, few nations are able to purchase units. And right now, the mod is on the limit unfortunately....
best regards,
Akkula.

Oh, I wasn't aware of that. But I had wondered because I had to sacrifice another nation for it. The riddle is solved.
Thank you Akkula!

That's cool but India's main enemy in reality is and will be Pakistan )) With the Chinese now they are fighting with sticks and shovels for borders high up in the mountains ) How soon will the new version be ?

Why don't you try to make such a mod not on the basis of modern conflicts but for example on the original game )I like your Jewish units )

Let's say that, as a player, I would be displeased to have my poor passive 1 AA attack be used instead of the massive AA attack of the patriot/S-300 that could be right next to my unit
But indeed, MANPADS don't match the scope of Akkula's campaigns.
LMAO, that is for sure displeasing
And a bit off the beaten path: would you mind if I'll make localization update for your MdC map pack?

Most of the units are from Akkula and Pak-Mod. Only a few from me. I change the color or add something, copy, cut and paste together to put it simply.
And since the magic button for campaigns will soon be available, I have enough work to do with my MC projects.

Well, good luck with the end of this long marathon; I look forward to seeing Indians in action in this Chinese campaign now (or at least having them well organized in the scenario editor)

Thank you very much for this proposal; I gladly accept! My only attempt at translating into Russian was for a single mission with the help of the Copilot AI, but unfortunately, I don't have the skills to verify if it made any mistakes. JamesBond managed to complete the mission without any issues despite the many texts, so I guess it's effective; but it would indeed be much more reassuring for me to have a human behind the keyboard

Yom Kippur War? Great! A new geographical area with Akkula main mod and a new period with this upcoming campaign. Modern Conflicts mod is exploring new horizons!
I feel too classic, now.

Hi guys,
I don't if it can be solved or if it's an intended mechanics :
I just noticed that when a figther with +1 range (like MiG 25) fires on a bomber, the air cover this bomber has doesn't work anymore when a second fighter with no range attacks him. The +1 range avoiding the air cover is legit, but the fact it cancels the air cover for a second attacker, is it normal ? It makes +1 range fighter kinda OP as not only they can target bomber and avoid their air cover (this is normal fact), but they also neutralize the air cover for any other fighter attacking the same bomber (it doesn't sounds legit as the fighters protecting the bomber still haven't fired their missiles)
Despite hundreds of hours playing this mod, I think it's the first time I noticed this kind of situation. Now that I know it, I'll adapt my tactics for sure

Hi, CaptainLaG.
Unfortunately, it's rather unavoidable bug than intended feature.
PzC engine don't really designed to handle ranged air units, and defending fighter deal zero damage due to range conflict. To make things worse, even if you try to defend your bomber with ranged fighter it still will be unable to defend. But will waste "cover" card and ammo. Guess, devs never considered ranged air attack in WWII setting =)
Same thing range air-to-ground attack btw. If you attack AA-covered or AA itself with ranged bombers (namely Su-34, the mighty "Duckling") it takes no return fire but effectively waste AA unit shot.
It can be extremely frustrating at times, but it is what it is. Akkula did tremendous job to bend original rules into modern setting, but there's some hard-coded limitations (

Roger thanks for the explainations.
Tbh it’s not that a big deal once you know it, and overrall the scenarios and campaing are well balanced so these little unintended issues don’t impact the game experience.
And yeah I think this mod is so complete that we can forget there is an already existing game behind it

Totally agree with you ) Another twenty years will pass and maybe generous developers will expose the open source engine of the game ) As practice shows games that have the ability to make mods - live longer in the hearts and minds of fans than those that do not have such opportunities and they are waiting for them well if a place in museums or in the urn of progress ))
I just hope that the lizards are smarter and will allow to create their own mods on their brainchild but you can go the way of Rockstar which is starting to beat on creative hands and close all people's projects through the court ))))

Hello guys,
Just some funny info for you: Update 2.0 already has more than 620 new units.... and counting. Most of those, of course, are related to the new Asian nations.
I almost finished the scenario editing of the main campaign... we are almost there
Best regards,
Akkula.
Good day, and the map of the global battle of the Axis NATO and Axis Russia and allies will contain the Asian theater of military operations? For 60 moves or more will it be? Or will the changes only affect new companies? Well, very curious, we are really waiting for your update

Hello guys,
A global map would be HUGE. I am not planning to do so.
For the European scenario I am doing just small adjustments, is not the focus of this update after all.
I am adding Essen and Dortmund to populate the Ruhr area, I am thinking to add Wiesbaden and Mainz to the same end on the Frankfurt area. West of Germany is a dense populated area, the scenario was not replicating that aspect properly.
About a grand scenario for Asia, it may come in the future. I would love to, but I have a lot of work to do before that.
Best regards,
Akkula.

So, i am not the only one that enjoy to listen to them from time to time
Glaciales Lacrimae by Khetzal, Prince of Persia by Farhad Mahdavi, etc... Very good choices. I can't leave them to the ambient sounds mini-mod.
Another good new for 2.0
