OK, so we still have 3 vacancies and I am now going to fill them with the reserves we have available. There were 7 reserves in total who applied in the following order - random27, carpenkm, Cunningcairn, ericdoman1, kraff, gjhabcvhj and Delbruck. I have checked with carpenkm whose initial post suggested to me that he might have enough matches already and he has agreed to stay as a reserve and let someone else play. My thanks to the other players who offered to play an extra section. I will keep you as reserves in case there is a non-starter or early drop-out.

Recruitment has officially finished now as the High Middle Ages section is now full. I will put the formation of division for this new section up shortly. Army selections must be with me by the end of Wednesday and play will start on Friday provided everything goes smoothly.

In the end we have 119 players registered, which has absolutely smashed the previous record from Season 9 of 96 players. And we have 22 new players joining us for the first time, which is a fabulous number because it means that the tournament is in very good shape for 2021.

There is now just 1 player who has yet to sign in. It is CheAhn who is just playing in the Biblical section. I will try and contact him this week to make sure everything is OK.

Here are the divisions for the first season of the High Middle Ages section. There is no doubt that this is going to be the toughest section of the tournament in Season 10. The standard of players is very high. I have used the FOG2DL ratings to allocate divisions. You will see a few players do not have a current rating (shown as n/r) but where I know a bit about them (they may have entered the FOG2DL in the past or played in FOG1) then I have given them a "nominal rating". This is roughly where I think they might be at the moment and it helps me to put them in the most appropriate division.
