Wow, must have been one hell of an amazing game.

No Sunday round-up today. The first one will be next week although some league tables may appear before then as results are already starting to come in. The recruitment to High Middle Ages has been very good and there are still a handful of places left which may be taken today. First thing tomorrow morning I will add in the reserves if I need to to make up 60 players and I will post up the divisions as soon as I can work them out. I shall require all your army selections by the end of Wednesday so that I can do the allocations on Thursday and I will open the section on Friday afternoon so that we don't lose the weekend. Players will still have a good 9 weeks to get their matches done.

There are just 2 players now who I need to sign in. They all have entered just one section each so there shouldn't be any major blockages in the tournament anywhere.

Wow, must have been one hell of an amazing game.

It was, the lead changed a few times and it was a very tough challenge. The massed archers meant I couldn't stay in terrain, so it meant a lot of unfavourable attacks against Cats and Heavy Chariots, just so I could close on the archers and it was painful during the close phase, but once they got to them it was payback! The cavalry were another challenge as I had nothing to pin them with and my skirmishers couldn't roam freely because of the overwhelming ranged power of the enemy. It was a brutal encounter.
