a mostly cavalry fight that looks like an infantry fight as the two sides were locked along a bloody battle line. superior roman concentration allows them to turn the alans' left wing.

fogman (abbasids) 29/39 vs iandavidsmith (early crusaders) 46/43

A thin line of trees in the middle of the field blunted the knights' impact edge and mitigated the superior missile power of the crusaders. the abbasids were hampered by indiscipline with numerous shock units charging into harm's way but good tactical support saved the day.

Lydians 45/44 British 50/51. Very very close run thing. My right flank crushed his left flank and my left flank just managed to hold on. Another turn and it would have been a draw.

Close run thing indeed. At one stage I had a 14 point advantage which my fabulous troops managed to throw away. Take nothing away from Supervark though as he played his hand very well and worked well to neutralise the that from my cavalry. Still on the positive side the Lydians maintain their 100% record. How many can say that, eh?
