The relegation battle in Division A is still to be decided with edb1815 (Graeco-Bactrians) firmly rooted at the bottom with 7 straight defeats. It is still possible for him to get off the bottom if he wins his last two remaining matches against fellow strugglers mhladnik (Antigonids) and Valdavia (Macedonians). mhladnik and Valdavia still have to play each other as well. MikeC_81 (Romans) secured the Division B title with a win against Lysimachos (Macedonians) this week. shadowblack (Ptolemaics) moved into second place but can still be overtaken by Dortmund (Indo-Greeks) if he beats Lysimachos in his last match. At the bottom Najanaja is relegated after his sixth defeat. In Division C Cunningcairn (Seleucids) can secure second place if he beats batesmotel (Bosporans) in his last match. batesmotel has not registered a win yet but can still overtake majandro (Galatians) as they still have to play each other. Division D has been complete for a while now. In Division E bbogensc (Indo-Greeks) increased his chances of finishing second with an important win over dkalenda (Romans).

Weekly round-up

Nothing to report in Division A this week. The relegation place is still undecided with hidde (Armenians Tigranes) needing to beat mhladnik (Romans) to stand any chance of finishing above Valdavia (Seleucids). In Division B Dortmund (Bosporans) won 2 matches to secure second place and in the process relegated Najanaja who finished with just one victory. Division C has been completed for a while now. Praeter (Romans) secured another important win in the struggle at the top of Division D and now needs to beat both gids (Seleucids) and ZygfrydDeLowe (Ancient Britons) to win it outright. At the bottom gids, Jakdaw (Slave Revolt) and GrayNemesis are all without a win. The big news in Division E is that lecrop (Indians) has caused a major upset by beating Zolwer (Spanish Sertorius) which means that three players finished on 28 points! By looking at the results between pbuck777 (Jewish), Zolwer and Gwaylare (Pontic) it means that pbuck777 is the winner of the Division.

In a nail-biting finish lecrop defeated Zolwer, which meant that pbuck777 (Jewish), Zolwer (Spanish Sertorius) and Gwaylare (Pontic) all finished on 28 points. In the matches between the three players, pbuck777 won his two matches to come top, Zolwer won one match to finish second and Gwaylare lost both matches to finish third. Congratulations to pbuck777 on his second promotion this season.

The main development in Division A this week is that two defeats means that edb1815 will be relegated. There is an incredible situation now in Division B where five players can still win it outright, including majandro who is currently in ninth place! majandro can get to 25 points, Cunningcairn, batesmotel and shadowblack can get to 24 points while shawkhan2 sits on top of the table with 22 points having completed his fixtures. Astonishing really. At the bottom padster recorded his first win and he needs to beat majandro to avoid relegation. majandro could still get relegated if he loses all his remaining matches. There is nothing to report from Division C this week.

Two defeats for Jonathan4290 this week means that his challenge for the title in Division A is almost over. He can still do it if he wins his last three matches with bonus points, including a match against ruskicanuk, the current leader. rexhurley, mhladnik and ggarynorman all desperately need points to avoid relegation.
