Please use the following format when reporting your results . . .

Division A

hidde (Arab City) beat stockwellpete (Sassanid Persian) 50-25

It is very helpful to me if we all get used to reporting the results in the same way, so please report the score as 50-25 rather than 25-50 when you have won. This avoids much confusion when discussing match situations by PM with regards to adjudication or some other issue regarding the rules of the tournament.

I have put a call out for Breogan but there has been no reply as yet. If there is anyone else who would like to play in Biblical this season, preferably with a FOG2DL rating somewhere between 1.00 and 4.00, please let me know. The place is offered on a first come, first served basis.

When will high middle ages finish? 18/4 same as the others or a fortnight later? Same question for time control checks I guess too?

It will finish the same time as the other sections on 18th April, although I may allow short 3 day extensions at the end if there are still promotion and relegation issues outstanding. There will be just one Time Control check for High Middle Ages after 3 weeks (on the same day as the 2nd Time Control check for everything else) to make sure everyone has got one match finished and there are no non-starters.

I can see one player trying to start their matches early. Please don't start until February 1st as a courtesy to other players. I will actually be opening the threads at 6pm UK time tomorrow evening so that players in Australia/New Zealand/Japan can start promptly if they want to.

Default size in Early Middle Ages is 1200 points. Matches can be played at 1600 points if both players agree. See the number in brackets at the end of each player's entry in the first post to see their preference.

These are my army selections for this section.

1 Greek 227-146 BC with Roman 280-220 BC ally
2 Samnite 355-272 BC with Gallic allies
3 Indo-Scythian 95BC to 50AD with Indian 500 BC-319 AD ally
4 Egyptian 405-343 BC (Rise of Persia DLC) with Libyan 549 - 301 BC Allies

and I prefer 1600 points.
Thank you.
