The army allocations for Classical Antiquity have now been completed. Please note that kronenblatt has withdrawn from Division C and that 2 players have yet to make their army selections. I will be contacting them by PM today.

You will also notice that just about everyone, except one player in Division F, has nominated 1600 points. A few other players did not express a preference at all so they have been given the default size for this section, which is 1600 points.

Therefore all matches in this section will be played at 1600 points this season.

kronenblatt has withdrawn from the tournament. His place in Classical Antiquity has been offered to Ironclad and his place in Biblical has been offered to Breogan. I will keep all of you affected by this change updated with developments.

So is it just this Parthian and Seleucid combination that is the problem? Are there any others?

Given the explanation about the Thracians above, I think this combo works: Parthian 250 BC-25 AD with Seleucid 166-125 BC allies as the Seleucids sit within the Parthian time line.

But they do not fit into the Late Antiquity timeline, which is from 0 AD to 599 AD (btw Parthians are 250 BC-225 AD)

The army allocations for Late Antiquity are now completed. Division F will be able to have some matches as 1200 points but all the other divisions will have all their matches at 1600 points.

No, I have given you your second choice this time . . .

IMC - Ancient British 60 BC-80 AD with Roman 24 BC–196 AD allies (1600)

I have offered the vacancy to Breogan but I think it would be better if he played in Division C. If he accepts then I will move deeter down to Division D.

ConstantinIX has withdrawn from Early Middle Ages Division A. I will get a replacement as soon as I can.

There is a vacancy in Early Middle Ages Division A . . .

There is a vacancy if you have a FOG2DL rating of 5.00 or more. Please respond in this thread or send me a PM.

I am also speaking to a player in Division B about moving up to Division A as I think I have a reserve available to play in Division B.

My priority over the weekend is to try and fill the vacancies that have occurred yesterday in Early Middle Ages and Biblical. This may mean adjusting adjacent divisions as well and it will mean a slight delay to the publication of army allocations to the Biblical section, maybe until Sunday. Everything else is looking good now.

Classical Antiquity: winners post your results here . . .

Please use the following format when reporting your results . . .

Division A

hidde (Romans) beat stockwellpete (Carthaginians) 50-25

It is very helpful to me if we all get used to reporting the results in the same way, so please report the score as 50-25 rather than 25-50 when you have won. This avoids much confusion when discussing match situations by PM with regards to adjudication or some other issue regarding the rules of the tournament.
