Division A
Triarii (Dialami) defeats ConstantinIX (Viking) 53-23.
The map made it for the Dialami - large areas of rough ground and bog allowed the Dailami to overwhelm Irish kerns and foot suprisingly quickly.
Then flank the Huscarls and sheildwall before they could navigate through the limited open ground and cavalry/archer delay to do proper damage.

In a very closely fought division a defeat for DryNick against runner-up snooky51 means that Blagrot and his British army has won automatic promotion from Early Middle Ages Division E. All three players registered 7 wins in their 9 matches. Well played Blagrot.
toska has won Early Middle Ages Division F!

In another tight finish toska and his German army recorded their seventh win of the season to pip carpenkm for the automatic promotion place in Early Middle Ages Division F. Well played toska.

Glad you won as that was a great match against you. One point difference! I must be improving. I know TomoeGozen would have given you a tough match.

Great match...harvey...the quicker thinker, realized that it wasn't about winning with the greeks, but about scoring some pts before the massacure started.
One bit of commentary on the theme...the historic scenarios tended to be static things of blob inf battles. historic, but not as fun or deep. something to discuss for next season's event i think. (i know i'm not the only one of this pespective+
