Nothing went right for the Dacians, almost every morale check went the Parthian's way

Can I just remind players that in the Digital League it is expected that all matches will be completed. If there is a good reason why you cannot complete all your matches then you should contact me by PM. Most players who need to drop out do this, but those players who just disappear without contacting me may find their entry rights for the next season either reduced or removed altogether. If this happens a second time then it will usually mean that no further invitations are sent to that player.

The reason for these rules is to enable me to offer a high-class tournament where players can expect to play all the matches indicated in the schedule at the start. It makes for a much more enjoyable competition if players are treating one another with proper consideration throughout. While I cannot stop players drifting away without telling any one on the first occasion they do this, I can stop them doing it for a second time.

Division F

Darkwater247 - Gepid 493-567 AD draws with wellsonian - Roman 379-424 AD with Frankish 260-495 AD allies 56-40

Another very tight game against Wellsonian, with luck swinging both ways, the Romans shattered the gepid center, forcing them to withdraw and regroup. The gepids finally managed to rout the two units of last two Cataphracts, however could not deal the deathblow to the plucky romans. Thankyou again and always a pleasure.

(2-2)

Division F

Telesien: Roman 24-196 AD with Jewish 64 BC-6 AD allies defeats SSB: Bosporan 11 BC-375 AD with Roman 24 BC–196 AD allies 62 - 40

Very chaotic game, where Romans poured out of the woods like the German barbarians they are soon to become and managed to get favorable position on critical hill. Well played by SSB, but unfortunately terrain was on my side for once. :)

Weekly round-up
Just 1 result in Division A this week where Questar17 (Hannibal in Italy) put an end to Triarii's (also Hannibal in Italy) outside chance of winning the championship. Nosy_Rat (Pontic) just needs 4 points from his remaining 2 matches to become the champion. A win and a draw for Challenge1 (Hannibal in Africa) has seen him move to within a point of the current leader Morbio (Hannibal in Italy) in Division B. He now needs to get a minimum of 2 points from his last match against lunecastle (Lysimachid) to win automatic promotion. Nothing to report from Division C, but in Division D relegated Tresantes (Pyrrhic) finally managed to register a win in his last match of the season. Still very close in Division E where both Blagrot (Sertorius) and Kerait (Roman) are poised to overtake leader deeter (Hannibal in Italy). Both players have 2 games left and Blagrot currently has a 1 point advantage over Kerait and they still have to play each other. Nothing to report from Division F this week.

Unbeaten runs of 3 matches or more
Nosy_Rat (Division A) 6 matches
Challenge1 (Division B) 3 matches
lunecastle (Division B) 4 matches
Bluefin (Division D) 3 matches and finished
Blagrot (Division E) 4 matches
Kerait (Division E) 4 matches
Darkwater247 (Division F) 4 matches

Match completion rate (45 matches in total to be played in each division)
Division A - 37 out of 45 matches completed
Division B - 42 out of 45 matches completed
Division C - 44 out of 45 matches completed
Division D - 45 out of 45 matches completed
Division E - 39 out of 45 matches completed
Division F - 42 out of 45 matches completed

Divisions A and E are behind schedule, the other divisions have excellent match completion rates.

Player of the Week: Tresantes (Division D) with his first win of the season in his very last match. A very tough season but he stuck with it. :D

Weekly round-up
Only the relegation issue to be decided in Division A after Nosy_Rat (Breton) won this division last week and 2 more defeats means that Nijis (Indian) will finish bottom of the table now. 3 players can still win autoomatic promotion from Division. Long time leader schmolywar (Jewish Revolt) has finished on 24 points but still can be overtaken by batesmotel (German Horse Tribes), who needs just 3 points from his last 2 matches to take the top place, and desertedfox (Parthian), who has just 1 game left. oscarius (Jewish Revolt) has won automatic promotion from Division C after winning his final match while SLancaster (Roman) narrowly lost his last game to finish second. At the bottom Bluefin (Alan) is relegated after losing his last 2 matches. Just the relegation battle at stake in Division D and a win each for Supervark (Byzantine) and bomber23 (Arab City) means that sarmation (Dacian) is relegated. Morat (Lombard) has won Division E after snooky51 (Parthian) lost narrowly to second-placed Barrold713 (Palmyran). At the bottom things are starting to look bleak for grumpydaddy845 (Dacian) after 2 more defeats. In Division F a score draw for Darkwater247 (Gepid) against wellsonian (Roman) means that he cannot now overtake long time leader Conteshard (Byzantine), but another win for toska (Sassanid) now means he needs 7 points from his last 3 matches to win automatic promotion. At the bottom a first win for telesien (Roman) gives him a fighting chance of avoiding the wooden spoon.

Unbeaten runs of 3 matches or more
Nosy_Rat (Division A) 8 matches
sunnyboy (Division A) 5 matches
batesmotel (Division B) 4 matches
desertedfox (Division B) 3 matches
Najanaja (Division B) 6 matches
cromlechi (Division C) 3 matches and finished
edb1815 (Division C) 3 matches and finished
Barrold713 (Division E) 3 matches
angel42052 (Division F) 3 matches
Darkwater247 (Division F) 4 matches
toska (Division F) 6 matches

Match completion rate (45 matches in total to be played in each division)
Division A - 39 out of 45 matches completed
Division B - 42 out of 45 matches completed
Division C - 45 out of 45 matches completed
Division D - 44 out of 45 matches completed
Division E - 37 out of 45 matches completed
Division F - 39 out of 45 matches completed

Divisions A, E and F are behind schedule, while the other divisions have good match completion rates.

Player of the Week: oscarius (Division C) who posted his seventh victory this week to win automatic promotion. :D

Weekly round-up
Macedonczyk (Andalusian) duly completed his clean seep in Division A by winning his ninth match against Sennacherib (Umayyad). At the bottom Triarii (Dailami) picked up a useful 2 points with a score-draw against third-placed XLegione to increase his chances of avoiding the drop. No action in Division B this week, while in Division C another defeat for Najanaja (Rajput) means that he must beat General Shapur (British) 4-0 in his last match to bring about an unprecedented 3-way tie in eighth place involving himself, General Shapur and grumpydaddy845 (Dailami). In Division D the focus is also on the relegation battle where another defeat for Kerait (Arab North Africa) means he needs at least 2 points from his last match against fellow struggler rs2excelsior (German) to overtake eighth-placed Doyley50 (Viking). A big finish is in store for Division E this week where the final match to be completed will decide the promotion issue. DryNick (Arab Conquest) must beat fourth-placed snooky51 (Dailami) 4-0 to overtake leader Blagrot (British) and win automatic promotion. A win for snooky51 will see him finish second behind Blagrot. It is just as tight in Division F where toska (German) beat leader carpenkm (Norman) in a crucial promotion battle to leave himself needing a 4-0 win in his last match against eighth-placed angel42052 (Dabuyid) to take the top spot. At the bottom a second consecutive win for hscic (Viking) means that wmpryor (Irish) will finish in the wooden spoon position even though he collected 10 points this season.

Unbeaten runs of 3 matches or more
Macedonczyk (Division A) 9 matches
Nosy_Rat (Division A) 3 matches
sunnyboy (Division B) 4 matches
random27 (Division D) 5 matches and finished
tmac11 (Division D) 3 matches
DryNick (Division E) 3 matches

Match completion rate (45 matches in total to be played in each division)
Division A - 41 out of 45 matches completed
Division B - 43 out of 45 matches completed
Division C - 44 out of 45 matches completed
Division D - 42 out of 45 matches completed
Division E - 44 out of 45 matches completed
Division F - 42 out of 45 matches completed

These are excellent match completion rates. :D

Player of the Week: Macedonczyk (Division A), who completed a clean sweep of 9 straight victories this week. :D
