Yes a stunning return to the game for me. Several turns on the march, including cav through the woods to pin the lights, and a huge effort by my swiss holding the center. Lots of learning and yes I got the rear hit in

It's early tercio's that have iron underpants... not keils! (they only have an iron corset)

I'm a big fan of "iron underpants". They can take a lickin' and keep on tickin', to paraphrase the Timex slogan (ignore the visual imagery).

Are you close to a resolution of the Second Battle of Milan? If not I will resolve it by die roll so that we can move on.

Summer 1550 Loan Repayments
France was unable to repay their loan from the Money Lenders, which was due this turn. France may no longer borrow from the Money Lenders and here is the effect of defaulting for the Summer 1500 turn:
All the victim’s military units are paralyzed for that one turn. All orders are automatically changed to Hold orders, although they may still be Supported by other players. They may not be used to put down rebellions, and the effects of siege are ignored on fortified cities that these units may be besieging. Any of the victim’s Garrison units that are being besieged will immediately be removed from the map. Some of the victim’s provinces may take advantage of the situation to rebel. Consult the Rebellion Table and roll a die for each controlled province.
Rebellion Tests:
- Avignon roll: 5 no rebellion
- Marseille roll: 3 no rebellion
- Provence roll: 1 Rebellion!
- Swiss roll: 6 no rebellion
- Turin roll: 4 no rebellion
- Como roll: 6 no rebellion
- Tyrolia roll: 3 Rebellion!
Provence and Tyrolia have flames icons on the map to indicate the rebellions.

William,
The map shows Pontremoli as still being neutral but it was occupied by Genoa in the Spring move. I thought control changes at the end of the turn. The army has now died but the province should be Genoese

Shouldn’t the como army be removed?
Also, France cannot move Armies the rest of the year or just the next season?

Why would the French army in Como be removed? There was no plague there.
The French paralysis is just for the Summer 1500 turn, but the rebellions linger:
Rebellion symbols remain where placed until the rebellion is pacified, put down, or liberated. Rebellions have no effect on movement. Income cannot be collected in a rebelling province and/or city, although a garrisoned city in a rebelling province could still produce income. Plague does not affect Rebellion symbols.

You confirmed it died from the famine several posts back(it didn’t move out of como sacrificing itself to support Venice)

No, I confirmed that the French Garrison would die and the Genoa Army if forced to retreat. The famine in Como was lifted by Venecian ducats.
