I think we're wrapping this round up soon (Center has yet to report in) and we should be catching up with the actual timeline soon as this pace!

Welcome aboard General! I've added you to the Soviet reserve.

You'll be playing in the next round and hopefully we can get one more Axis player for a match.

I've done some further testing and to avoid frustration I have made some changes to the setups for Attack/Defend Skirmishes (Thanks Collier for the idea).

The details can be found in the latest version (1.5) of the Campaign Information

(also available in the first post of this thread).

In summary...

- Closer points difference between Attacker and Defender in those Skirmishes (no change to Meeting Engagements).

- Soviet incentive in Secondary Attacks added (more points to be saved/used in coming Skirmishes)

I hope this will make the coming Skirmishes more enjoyable for both sides while still offering incentives to win.

As always, suggestions and comments welcome.

Are we sure the size of the map was the issue? I'm ok with adding points and the numbers system with the secondary fronts, but a small map size takes away a lot of the movement that characterized this front in the war.

Good point. I did find in some of my tests the slightly smaller map led to more of a concentrated action but nothing necessary.

The changes look good. Road testing will confirm if we have the right balance.

Any updates re battles underway?

Real and I are pummeling each other...don't think either of us will have anything left when were done. Still up in the air and about 8 turns to go.

Any reason Gibrinskii and I cant get a side game going. That is if he wants to!

You're welcome to, it just won't have any impact on the campaign...but it might give you some player insights

Oh yes! It cannot count just thought we could play while the other battles are completed!

Just a couple of days away from the cut off...hope the battles are wrapping up. Eager to get back into action!
