The Germans always filter to the top when least expected... More often winners than you might expect...

That secret army must be the Mint Imperials. They take a lot of sucking before you get a result.

Quite a few unpleasant things also float to the top.

down to Spanish and 1 other with 2 versions of the Spanish available and 4 versions of the other list

My money is on the other list as there are 4 variants. Now that's a lot of work

The Four variant list is the same army Ben will be taking, now John what are you taking, assuming it was successful on thursday

Well if Hunter had not forgotten to turn up for our game on Thursday then I might have been able to answer that. I am now in a quandary as to whether to go with an untested army or go with a safer option.

How many times can a fellah apologise

Every year John has a go at me for tabling an army I've not used much (or at all sometimes)

Now it's gone full circle with my list having been in months ago and a good few games under my belt whilst John is contemplating a freshie

I suppose it's easier for us bunnies with no pretensions to a podium spot and conversely harder for you contenders

I am going to hazard a wild guess that whatever armies John and Alasdair pick they'll be picking up prizes at the end of the basho
Can't wait till tomorrow when all will hopefully be revealed ..........

I seem to recall runners and riders will not be published until the weekend before Britcon.

John is correct, I will publish R&R next weekend, IF I have all of the lists by then. I've sent this to the email addresses I have for everyone, but just in case any are out of date:
So far I have received lists from:
Nigel Emsen
Hunter Hope
Paul Robinson
Matthew Poole
Mick Hood
Richard Young
Ian Poade
David Parish
Ray Boyles
Stephen Stead
David Allen
Keith Spedding
Simon LeRay-Meyer
John Munro
Charles Masefield
Benedict Jones
Simon Clarke
Adrian Steer
If you've sent a list and your name is not on the list, please resend it.
Otherwise, I would be grateful if you could ensure that I receive the list this week and I will publish R&R at the weekend.

Pretty good response rate Kevin. I'll drop Stewart R a text to see if he needs any help with his list as he is "new" to FOG R.

Gadzooks.
The FOG AM punters are showing us up. Just Ian Stewart's list to go and they'll be newsflashing the R&Rs. Where have we gone wrong ...... ?

The AM crowd are normally no better but they have responded positively to a request to get their lists in early due to Andy's wedding. There was of course the associated threat that any that didn't get in early would be checked by Bob!
On balance I'd rather have a few late ones

Of course it might be that AM will get some late entries after the R+R is published...

But I bet it will be slant we haven't seen before

well glory... Bens version on paper should turn over samurai..
Now is that the sound scrambling of players rushing to the list book?
Yours packed the box ready to go... I'm no where that close only go 2x Samurai units, 3x mounted units, 4x follower units (types various) and a baggage camp to paint this weekend... That's going to keep me quiet....
Corthianians count... Now 3.
