Don't know.

If you want an estimate to go by:

1- Decide how long you would be willing to wait for a top-notch product.
2- Double it.
3- Add a few more days to it so that it is on some historical event's anniversary.
4- Add 1 more day for possible time zone conflicts.

(OK some of that is a joke, but I have figured out it is reasonably accurate)
(Part 1 is not a joke)

I did my calculations and realised that it should be around 8 - 9 days...:P

But yes, as very recent PCorps addict I just find it difficult to wait for more content ;) I guess it's time to try out some of the user-made campaigns!

That would be a reasonable guess for Sealion. I don't think SC is that close to release though (or there would have been a formal announcement)

Personal I like see finnish sniper units and russian snipers

I also like see cosacks

Lendlease played major part of the war in russia with hundreds tanks and planes so maybe cheap lendlease units so people wil use them

Guards units were normal units that distinguished themselves, not special unit.

Siberian and NKVD units had bes equipment

Cossacks? How do you imagine to insert them into the game? The only sizeable cossacks troups were Russian (kuban region) traitors which fought against USSR under General Vlasov's flag. BTW, 1.1 mln of Russians in the German army - it calls for creation of ROA (Russ liberation Army) units....

Lendlease - good ideat, there were many formations in the Soviet army equipped with Churchills, Valentines and Aerocobras.

NKVD, imho, make sense to make available only in the border scenarios of summer 1941 - NKVD did fight well against Nazi, afterwards their participation in the war war rather auxiliary.

Dear Friends,
Lend-lease was crucial for existence of the Soviet Army, not to mention to its ability to fight and win (sometimes).
Could you please consider a couple of missions when you need to command a convoy and lead it safely through a zone where German wolf herds are acting?
Hopefully, a player's result will be better than those of PQ-17 or ON-92 commandors and thus a player will get some bonus equipment in the following missions.

Actually the Cossacks that fought against the Red Army and the Ukraine UPA were patriots in their own right. The only way they could hope to be liberated from Soviet oppression was to fight under a lesser evil to/for them, the Germans.
The real traitors were the English who returned them (and a good many Soviet prisoners who had surrendered) to certain death or life in Gulags after the war was over. Churchill "chicken sh*ted" out on that as well as betraying and other peoples and nations in Eastern Europe and the Baltics in an attempt to appease Stalin. Vlasov was betrayed by Stalin and the Soviet system as a scapegoat when the army he commanded was wasted in a hopeless situation of Stalin's making. He wanted to liberate Russia and Eastern Europe from Stalin and the Soviet oppression. Read a little from objective informed sources and get your facts right, walk in the other person's shoes and you might come away learning something new.

Hi Vorski

You asked

Cossacks? How do you imagine to insert them into the game? The only sizeable cossacks troups were Russian (kuban region) traitors which fought against USSR under General Vlasov's flag. BTW, 1.1 mln of Russians in the German army - it calls for creation of ROA (Russ liberation Army) units....

As far as I am aware there are lot of different types of Cossacks, Kuban Terek Ural and Don Cossacks. I am aware that Kuban and Terek Cossacks fought with russians generally and fought hard and also good few from Kaban and Terek sided with Germans. They fought at stalingrad and helped stop germans from entering caucausas. Both Kuban and Terek Cossacks where at the victory parade in moscow. Kaban Cossacks of 94th Beloglisnky, 152nd Rostovsky and 48th Belorechensky regiments fought to their death.

Most of the traitors as you put it (Traitors depends from which way you choose view it) where Don Cossacks which had earlier fought as white russians and because of this caused stalin to purge the cossack lands. Due to the mistreatment Don cossacks choose to side and therefore help Germany so they could free russia of communism and as said some Kaban and Terek Cossacks to.

As for how it can be done in the game there are many ways to add Cossacks into the game:

Cossacks fought in both armys german and russian can be added as new unit there.

2nd they did also get formed in part to as Russian liberation army so that to could be added.

Example of Cossacks in German army would be 1st Cossack Cavalry Division which would later become 1st SS Cossack Cavalry Division, this was probably done so Germans could keep control of some of the Cossacks as lot been give to Russian liberation army which meant the germans lost control.

I hope that helps answer your question Vorski.

Cossacks would only be good units for early 41-43 period as after that all sides realised that horse cavalry had its day. Saying that some cossack cavalry fought in romania etc so can use later but limited effectiveness.

You also got Chetniks and there also Tito partisans there so many countrys come under russia during after second world war that would which either pro nazi or pro russian. Before its mentioned Chetniks worked for germans and russians so that would be interesting concept to try fit in game.

As for snipers Britain and France used snipers very early in war. Finnish snipers took big toll on russians during winter war, then the use of russian snipers started the germans at training snipers in around 1942, so be nice see sniper units for all armys.

hi flakfernrohr

Your correct that lot were handed back to russians after war, but the British not only ones involved most where taken from Italy and moved to Russia.

The Americans and Italians all helped with it, as it was an agreement between the powers with Russia. These agreements where made during the Yalta and tehran Conferences, which where signed by Churchill Stalin and Roosevelt. Therefore not just by British.
