Sorry it took an extra day, but I had some questions to both sides about their orders. But now all is sorted out.

First, flipping a coin to decide which side have the initiative. Heads = Sweden, Tails = Denmark. Flipping… Heads, Sweden have the initiative.

With the Swedish being defeated in Dalarna, Helsingland Army will withdraw to either Helsingland or Gestrikland. Depends on the outcome of the battle in Gestrikland.

Any news from Gestrikland?

According to the rules an army can only retreat to an empty province?
Doesn't that mean the Army of Helsingland must be dissolved? And so is the Army of Gestrikland in case it lose?

Needless to say,in case of both armies dissolved, the campaign is over...frankly, I think it's over in any case.
I think you have something here to build on. Fine tuning the rules and some balance issues and it could very well be really good.
I enjoyed it as it was despite its shortcommings

It certainly not looking good for the rebel Gustav. If the Danes wins in Gestrikland there's only Helsingland left and only a miracle can save the Swedish side.

Anders, you are correct, the rules says an army can only retreat to an empty province. But I've allowed retreating armies to merge with friendly armies. It's me being lazy not updated the campaign rules…

As this was the first time using these campaign rules in FoG much was a test of the rules. We have discovered several thing that needs to be changed for a future campaign. If you'd like to end the campaign after the battle in Gestrikland, it's ok with me. If any of you want to keep playing I will keep creating scenarios.
In any case I want to thank you all for participating and helping me test the campaign system. You have come up with many great improvements and valuable ideas.
