WAY COOL!! Nearly there now...

The heavy and light cruiser should still be made a bit smaller (check the photo; even the heavy CA is only 2/3 length of the BB... Battleships were truly massive!)
The all grey freighter/transport should grow to whatever size you decide for the light cruiser (can lighten the jpeg skin in eg. Photoshop)
Seeing them all together, it might be possible to grow the minesweeper to about 2/3 size of the destroyer (to enjoy more details from the 3d model)
And remember to scale the LVT to match Slith's default size for a DUKW (so it will match the land units once it's on a beach)

This fleet is going to be AMAZING!!

Yes I'm agree with you about size of heavy/light CA, ...

I'm working first on the anim: all ships (except sub) are fully animated.
The scaling is easy now.
I'll try to finish the entire both fleets before end of week.

I also have to change the script move.bsf to take into account only the larger ships.
And I'll try to understand how works UVW mapping.
To have a correct texture for the reco plane onboard of my BB.

Here's the working draft of the first 'The Island' Pacific map...

The Japanese control a well fortified island, with a port and two airfields. The US carrier group, battle fleet and transports approach from the north and northeast...

Please sign up for an alpha test if you're interested...

The alpha will include a full combination of IJA, IJN, USN and USMC naval and ground units... Am waiting for latest fleet models... The map is designed to provide plenty of opportunities for sneaking warships around... Plus a smallish island to put up a genuine landing challenge...

I'll need alpha-testers to sign up to an 'honour code' to delete old versions as soon as we've got it to final... I have to be careful what we do until I understand the smallprint on contracts for our original 3d model downloads... See you in the Pacific! :D

NB. Before someone mentions it, yes PC players will get the lovely shimmering water effects (they're not seen here, because I'm dev-ing in the Mac version... Sorry  )

Sign me up!!!!

Can we see how the Battleship Recon Aircraft in action Amaris? :D
And as for the LVT can we make it as thin as a DUKW? It looks a bit to wide.

I just saw your BB vs BB video and I saw the USN Battleship has the Recon Aircraft behind it. Are you going to Leave it there or remove it until you can get it to work?

Alex! GREAT WORK ON THE LATEST WARSHIP UPLOADS...

Your new scaling for the battleships and cruisers is now exactly right...

Please include our two submarine models also... We don't have any special code to deal with being 'submerged' (yet) but I'd like to experiment with something...

The recon 'plane for BB's looks really interesting... Fabulous animation!

I will sent you the sub files today.

I understood how to make my own animations and trigger in BA via a script.

So with a ugly bad texture the reco plane of BB take off:

Nice take off animation A!

Can you persuade the recon 'plane to start moving with a slow speed... then gradually accelerate and climb upwards...?

That sub animation is soooooo cool :D perhaps get an IJN Destroyer nearby and have it drop "Depth Charges" as it will be the only way to sink a submerged sub. I assume they will use TNT?

Well it is a very early alpha stage.

Not sure that'll be completed immediately.
I need to think about how to deal it with BA engine.

Especially since I have this error message now:

Script Error in .../DATA/BATTLE/SCRIPT/$DEFAULT.BSF: Too many includes in the script file; max is 64

So I need to compact my scripts. More work.

I'll cast about for a good dive-horn sound file for you to combine with that animation.
Something from Silent Hunter, perhaps vintage 1987
