LydianEd - hang your head in shame

This came up last year when I, Lydianed, played the Lydians in LOEG 9. I lost all but one game! Anyway, for the avoidance of doubt the name Lydianed is a not-so-clever ellision of "Lydia" and "Ned" the names of my two eldest children. I am not Lydian Ed.
Dave, the challenge has been snaffled by someone else. New one up for you pw "dave"
Cheers, Jules
Sorry - missed that mail. Can you post another please?
Yup, did so 9th May - still up there waiting for you whenever you're ready. pw "greek"

Div C Result
Lydianed (EAP Plataea) 17/41 vs. George123 (Seleucid Successor) 43/39
The Seleucids didn't really have the equipment for this fight and were unable to dislodge the EAP from their ridge and were out-shot. A furious cavalry and MF assault supported by elephants on the EAP right was blunted with equal losses on both sides. By this time the Seleucids had had enough of being disrupted and drew closer to the EAP lines with unfortunate results. The terrain and match ups really didn't favour George at all. Thanks for the game.

Div B rexhurley (EAP- Greek Wars) 40/57 bt the hapless hatrans of Macsen 58/53
An interesting choice of army composition I think hampered macsen's ability to put up a good fight but out he game and did battle thanks for the game mate.
Div B rexhurley (EAP - Greek Wars) 30/57 bt philoi (26th edition Eygptians

) 52/50
Thanks for the game philoi in a game dominated by a stream bisecting the battlefield and swarms of bow/spear armed MI on both sides it was my ability to avoid his hoplite wing and pick of units that gave me the win.
Eric a shame to see you go, hopefully life will improve for you and we'll see you back in the future.
Voskarp if we have played Zum does it still count or is it a reset? Also is Fogman still active in Classical or has he withdrawn as he did in Dark Ages?
5 Challenges up for those that havent played me password = Persians.
Cheers Rex

the m/f on the high ground held up the roman flank just long enough for the centre to turn the tide. a very enjoyable game which could have gone either way.

Div C
Greetings44(Carthaginians in Italy) 30/41 vs Lydianed (EAP Platea) 41/41
The Persians arranged themselves on a line of hills along their baseline, with woods on their centre right. The Carthaginian's deployed on the right and advanced screened by skirmishers. A firefight ensued which the Persians were winning, but a lone hoplite unit decided to clear the skirmishers away and was promptly picked on by the armoured spearmen. The hoplites rout was used to cover the spearmens advance and a general melee developed on the hills involving more hoplites and immortals. Meanwhile in the centre a combination of Phonecian cavalry and Scutari managed to clear the Median cavalry and attacked the Immortals with the help of another armoured offensive spear unit. In the end the Carthaginian armoured spearman on the right held long enough for the centre to provide the win, a few less fortunate die rolls and it could've gone the other way. Thanks Lydianed.

Div B
macsen and the hapless Hatrans 32/53 defeated Ironclad Macedonians 43/41
Finally a win. The Macedonians didn't have many mediums but still assaulted the more numerous medium Hatran's on a ridge, meanwhile on the other wing the Hatran Cats got lucky for once and dispatched the Companions in short order while the pikes flailed around being slowly shot to death.
Cheers
