in the Redux, when does the Verdugo become available? trying to start a New SCW Campaign and after moving several units to reserve, creating a couple of Zero Slots heroes. I'm not allowed to overstrength even though I have plenty of slots? any reason for this?

Verdugo?
You mean the special tank?
You get the prototype from the optional Oviedo mission and enjoy to deploy if I remember right by Teruel.
What units are you attempting to overstrength? Recon planes cannot be overstrengthed.

Only thing causing that is the general trait "NoOverstrength"

Greetings Generals,
It has been awhile since I've shared anything on the forum. Rest assured, there is still activity and progress that regularly gets posted to discord.
I wanted to share a personal update. Recently, I was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease and am working on getting this treated. It will affect my time available for modding, let alone gaming. However, I enjoy what I do and will continue doing so.
The 1939 Rework is still progressing nicely, with the first 3 revamped missions released to internal testers. I am working on unit placement and scripting for Poland North and progressing through Poland South terrain.
Right now, I'd like to show off a few images of Rhiley and Philip von Schnack, who will be joining your command staff in 1940 Part 2.

RickKessler has gotten really good at upscaling images, coloring them, and making them look really lifelike. Yes, there is the use of AI.

After the image has been created, it is easier to add a background image in as seen here.

Rhiley von Schnack, Philip's brother, will also be present. They often will be side by side and their background images reflect that.
Working on Philip and Rhiley has allowed Rick to get better and more practice and creating a more uniform background and lighting effects; which will be rolled out to Havertz and Reinhardt's pictures also.
Hope you all have a great time and can't wait to see you all on the battlefields of Poland again!

Hello Generals,
I want to share a few things with you all. Work continues on 1939 Redux. Currently I have finished terrain work on the end of Poland South and moved onto the merged parts of the Poland campaign.
Here is the Battle of Przemysl, the "final" battle in the Poland South tree, 80x50 hexes compared to the original 39x26. This scenario does share some terrain from the Krakow mission in Poland South. This again continues off my desire for a sense of continuity. It is a small way to feel like you are advancing if you see a town you had to capture in one scenario, is captured on the next scenario.

Map editor.

In-game.
The next biggest change will be the Battle of Bzura, which is two maps from Poland South stitched together (Lodz and Radom) to create a massive 90x60 hexes. My slight revamp included in 1940 Redux was only 42x47. This battle will have two versions, similar to Gdynia which will be a Poland North ground battle and Poland South air battle. Bzura will be a Poland North air battle and Poland South ground battle.
This greatly enlarged map, has a lot. You have encircled Modlin and Warsaw but the Poles have begun attacking your flanks. You will be forced to withdraw your forces from the front to deal with this unexpected attack. But you cannot let your guard down as the Poles may sally forth and retake some territory.

The Battle of Bzura.
There is no concrete timeframe on a release schedule for this greatly expanded campaign; however I'm finishing up scripting for Poland North and will begin working on Poland South soon.
I can't wait to see you all on the battlefields!

Birth of Blitzkrieg: How Germany Shattered Poland
https://www.msn.com/en-ca/war-and-confl ... 83af&ei=74
September 1939 marked the dawn of a terrifying new style of warfare — Blitzkrieg. With fast-moving Panzers, coordinated air strikes, and a strategy that left Poland surrounded, Germany shocked the world with a lightning campaign. But behind the myth of unstoppable tanks lay horse-drawn carts, under-gunned machines, and a reliance on radios that tipped the balance. This is the story of how Blitzkrieg was born and how it crushed Poland in just weeks.

Hello Generals,
Just a small update. I'm still working on my overall health. Over the past few weeks and after numerous doctor's appointments and specialists we have narrowed down what is wrong.
In terms on the 1939 Rework, testing of Poland North has been released to the testers. I'm working on the new Battle of the Bzura, before going to work on Poland South.
After that, the campaigns will be merged until the end of Poland.
Right now, I'm in the planning stages of a series of training scenarios with the Italians to provide an alternate path to end the campaign. Finland will still be available, but this Italian path will offer a sense of rewards similar to Finland. I'll have more information later as I begin to develop them.
Thank you all for your continued support.

Hello Generals,
A few small updates. Several testers have wrapped up on Poland North and Poland South campaigns and moved into the merged campaign; which is still under going scripting and unit placement.
I do have an internal timeframe for when the 1939 Rework should be released and am hoping around December 2025 or January 2026. After that, work will resume on 1940 part 2.
In the meantime, here are a few screenshots from one of the testers.
As always, can't wait to see you in the larger battlefields of Poland!

I can`t use the "Force dispersion" trait when i load up storm over europe 1936. Every box is checked in the mod manager. Do you know what the issue can be?

Force Dispersion was disabled for Storm Over Europe, along with Industry Connections.
Force Dispersion because people would be able to put 3 heroes on a unit then next campaign get additional Commander Selection points for selecting Force Dispersion but still have 3 heroes on some units.
Industry Connections was disable to allow for more meaningful rewards from scripted events, etc.

Hmm okay is there a confusion about "Force dispersion" vs "Force Concentration" then? Because Force concentration is still there and allows you more heroes per unit. Force dispersion does the opposite and is a negative trait I have enjoyed the limitation of. Or am i getting this wrong? I just wondered if you had removed the wrong trait.

Nope.
I reviewed the discussion Rick and I had about it. This is the solution I came up with, otherwise the heroes would have to be Unassigned at the start of each campaign.

Not to kibitz your mod too hard, but for me it just seems like a lot of effort on both the development side and the player side to remove Force Dispersion, when players who want to stack powerful units can already do that just by giving themselves +2 (or more) general points at campaign start.
Someone who doesn’t consider that an exploit (or doesn’t care) would just give themselves the extra points and still end up with both the 3-hero units and their preferred traits anyway. So, removing Force Dispersion mostly ends up impacting the players who weren’t trying to exploit anything in the first place.
My .02 cents.
