A swirling encounter and prolonged cavalry dual meant foot heavy Byzantines were eventually separated and out flanked by Bosporan cavalry but not before they destroyed the Bosporan foot. Thanks to Questar for a tense, close game.

The high quality Roman legionnaires managed to inflict enough rout for a victory before the massively numerically advantaged Scots troops to encircle the Roman with chariots or infiltrate the gaps between engaged troops with foots.

With 8 straight wins so far, pompeytheflatulent has been too strong for the other players in Division A this season and is the new champion of the Biblical section. Well played pompeytheflatulent.

In a very tight contest, random27 has edged out both deeter and Rob12 to win automatic promotion. Well played random27.

As I wrote in my congrats to Cunningcairn, this is even more impressive as we're talking mirror games so no advantages from selecting and getting superior army lists. And 4-0 in all 8 games at that! Yet more impressive.

Well done, pompey, and congrats! Now I can (finally) throw away any shame I felt when losing 42-0 to you in TYME I (Romans versus Romans, so basically one "mirror" game there too; just showing a vast difference in skills). The downside to your success is that I may have to restrict your participation in the tournaments that I arrange, at least if I don't want the Burgundians to ahistorically conquer the Roman world in the fifth century AD.
