by Aetius39
Division C
Aetius39 (Andalusian) defeats Najanaja (Indian) 67-37
Hard fight against the Indians; there was a large patch of rough terrain in the left-center of the map, and the Andalusians lost most of their lights early on. In the end, though, the superior Andalusian units beat back the Indians, who suffered a lot from cohesion drops when units routed. Well-played by my opponent, who could have taken the game if a few things went their way mid-game. GG najanaja!

Division E for Enthusiastic
Barrold713 (Lombard) defeats ggarynorman (Pictish) 54-8
Lots of flung projectiles with lucky disruptions followed by armored lancer charges helped to break up a mass of infantry for the win. Good game.

Division E
DryNick (Arab Conquest) defeats ggarynorman (Pictish) 50-3
A very one sided map was rolled for this match-up where the Pictish horde of medium spearmen where on hills with rough patches behind a deep stream. When I offered to re-roll the map, ggarynorman was brave enough to take the fight to me instead in the open ground where he had a clear disadvantage. This might have costed him the game but shows his mettle.
Looking forward to playing with you again sometime ggarynorman.

by kraff
Division C
kraff (Numidian or Moorish 55 BC-6 AD) defeats SawyerK (Seleucid 302-301 BC with Lysimachid 320-281 BC allies): 44-14.
A difficult battle for the Seleucids and their allies due to the numbers of Numidian light troops - the skirmishers were everywhere, distracting their counterparts from attacking Numidian infantry. Both sides engaged in melee on the banks of the stream, but Numidian right flank with elephants managed to get safely across it. The threat of being outflanked was enough for the Seleucid troops; they lost their fighting spirit and retreated, thus avoiding unnecessary bloodshed.

Thanks for a good game.
(3-1)
It was a hard fight... the Samnites pulled back a bit near the end, but then got pushed over the threshold first. Very well played!
