Inspired by this incredible sequence of Nosy_Rat's, I will be adding two new categories to the Tournament Records at the end of the season. They will be "longest winning runs for each section" and "longest unbeaten runs for each section (which will include drawn matches).

Division E

Blagrot (Arab City 300-633 AD) beat Rob123 (Germanic Horse Tribes 260-492AD with Dacian (Carpi) 107-380 AD allies ) 44% - 19%

After some minor cavalry skirmishing the warbands unleashed their fury on the arab infantry, to pretty much zero effect across the line, with the warbands trapped the larger number of arab foot slipped around the sides and repeatedly flank charged their way to victory. Thanks for the game Rob123, the RNG was not with you.

Pool B semi - Cunaxa

TomoeGozen (Cyrus) defeats tmac11 (Artaxerxes) 62 - 36.

The Hoplites did their bit and the rest of the line survived intact enough to hold on , just...

Thanks to tmac11 for the game , although I think we were both in agreement that the 'lottery' nature of so many Takabara going head to head wasn't our favourite form of battle...way too many double drops for no apparent reason :-(

Darkwater247 - Scots 851-1051 AD with Viking 900-1049 AD allies defeats toska - German 933-1049 AD with Polish 966-1057 AD allies 56-32 (surrendered)

Quite a narrow map due to a river running the length, I was worried about the german lancers flanking and coming across the river behind my lines, luckly this didn't happen and the scots managed to get the upperhand in a classic shieldwall slog!.

Thank you for the game, toska.

by Triarii
Division A

Triarii (Cathaginian) defeats klayeckles (Ptolemaic) 52-14

The Ptolemaic's got stretched out across an unforgiving map with lots of rough ground and a river for the Carthaginian MF. Two very fortuitous pushbacks in one turn was the point of no return for Ptolemy.
Good game and many thanks to K.
