Was shaping up to be another epic encounter before the RNG gods dealt Aetius a terrible blow with 4 key infantry units Fragmented on contact with the Legions. With the line broken a few flank attacked ensued and the damage was done. Thanks for the game Aetius you deserved better luck than that.

Pretty much every diodachi unit not carrying pikes or riding horses where swept away by a tide of angry Spaniards, a few spanish units were clinging on to stop the scary greek cavalry from swinging into the back of their friends but the collapse of the infantry line meant a quick victory, thanks for the game Barrold and you might get your vengence in our final game

Aetius39 (Greek) defeats Tresantes (Pyrrhic) 46-10

The armies were similar in strength, but the Greeks outnumbered the Pyrrhic army in units. Although their pikes were strong and dangerous against the Greek hoplites, the Greeks managed to hold their own and flank quite a bit. After knocking a few pikes out, the rest could be enveloped by the numerically stronger Greeks; a flanking maneuver on the Pyrrhic right's medium infantry also helped a lot. GG to my opponent!
