foederate cavalry was too aggressive and got trapped.

fogman (medieval germans) 12/46 vs voskarp (later ordonnance french) 43/42.

french right wing was isolated from their strong main line of swiss pikes by impassable terrain. german reinforced left wing overwhelmed it.

since batesmotel hasn't done it,

batesmotel (ghaznavids) 37/41 vs fogman (abbasids) 40/40.

a huge patch of rough terrain and woods occupied the middle of the battlefield. on one side the abbasids won, on the other the ghaznavids won. it came down to the ghaznavids looting the abbasid camp and about 3 of their routed units recovering before exiting the field.

Very close this one in the end and I rushed my last turn perhaps I may have got a win but never mind after being down 27/0 I was happy to get this close, would have been nice to have another turn though as I had enough setupd and rear's ready to go I may have salvaged a draw

Lydianed (Thracian) 37/55 vs Solly (Early Armenian Khosrov I) 50/46.

The Armenian cataphracts made hell on the Thracian left flank but the terrain hampered them and the Thracian MF managed to hold on - just. The Thracian superior numbers allowed them to fold the Armenian left while in the centre a stand-off took place between the Armenian legions and the Thracian troops on the hillsides. In the open this would have been a very different outcome. Well played Solly.
