Another great game with Morat. Despite all our manouvering, it came down to a slug fest in a piece of rough ground in the centre. Well played to Morat, All the best, Lunecastle.

wellsonian (Byzantine with Sassanid allies) defeats DirtyMark (Roman with Armenian allies) 65-49.

A very fun, back and forth affair. We both took turns turning victory into defeat, but in the end the Byzantines managed to just out last the Romans. Thanks to DirtyMark for the great game.

Death and disaster reigned and, as fate would have it, more Parthians stood the test than Hebrews, victory but a mere technicality that brings no pleasure.

a great battle between two similar armies.

another great battle , very close. As always, defeat phalaxes is always difficult.

A great map for the Jewish Army (a huge difficult hill, crossing the entire field, in both deployment zones, with a narrow valley between the two hill ranges) led to a comfortable victory for the Jewish side.

The Jewish lights were able to maintain parity or win the fire fights, so that there more numerous MI were able to choose where they fought and outnumbered the Persians.

The Bosporans initially got the better of the skirmishing and took apart the Gepid left wing. Elsewhere the Gepids managed to win a couple of isolated battles which enabled them to move behind the Bosporan line while avoiding the quality Roman infantry. Being attacked from front and behind eventually did for the Bosporan horse. Good game.

That is my last game in Classical and my last game of the TDC season 1.
