Please allow one question and all politics aside, please...
Has anyone looked yet at all the strategic, operational and tactical things that can be observed in Eastern Europe for more than two years by now? Does anyone plan to build a mod based on this most recent conflict?
As said, this is not political, I am on neither side, just following the developments and see a lot of things that could make a great mod from a PzC gameplay perspective.

Hi Pete,
I would say that Modern Conflicts is THE mod to create that campaign; it has literally every piece of equipment used in the war. However I think that is too early because the conflict is too recent and I think we need time in order to obtain reliable information from both sides.
And of course, the war is still raging on, so the campaign would be inconclusive.
Let's see how it goes.
Best regards,
Akkula.

It is too early to make a campaign for these events as the final point in this conflict is not yet set, but it is possible to make additional single scenario maps like Debaltsevo )

I would even be interested to see it simulated to-date or some sort of discussion on some of the events, from a pure military/geographical point of view... but this might end up becoming a political discussion which is not my intention and the moderators will then need to intervene... not ideal
For example, today:

Hello everyone. Nobody knows the future. The topic has potential and that's why I've been working on a mini-campaign for myself for some time. The advance of the Russian side on Kiev in the first few weeks and its defense by the Ukrainian side. It begins with the landing of the Russian paratroopers at Antonov Airport. I am basing this on the mod "Market Garden". You could continue this until the Ukrainian offensive last summer, etc. Information about the battalions and regiments involved and their insignia would be interesting.
Best regards
Tobi

Hi bondjamesbond, that's a good idea. The scenario editor and Modern Conflicts offer the best conditions for this. It's all about the game! Political emotions don't belong here. If you agree, I'll get back to you in a few days with a private message.

Hi, In my small campaign, I would like to assign the units involved their designation/name. I know that in the northwestern area the 31st Guards Paratroopers on the Russian side and the 72nd Motorized Brigade on the Ukrainian side faced each other in combat. I still lack information about the units on the north-eastern front near Kiev. I would like to give the units the insignia as I have done with some German units. That will take some time.

The 31st Airborne Assault brigade from Ulyanovsk will be reorganized into the 104th Division, which it was before.
The 104th division may be formed following the example of the 76th and 7th divisions, and will be an amphibious assault, with the inclusion of tank battalions and artillery in the staff.

Hi bondjamesbond, it's a bit hard to describe. I have not integrated my campaigns and scenarios in Modern Conflicts.
But in the PC folder....Documents....PanzercorpsWehrmacht......Mod...look at the pictures.so I have completely rewritten the campaign`39 including the briefings. But I have only finished 3 scenarios/maps for the Ukraine war...6-7 are still to come.I start "My" Modern Conflicts via PanzercorpsWehrmacht. For my Germany campaign with 25 scenarios/maps I have rewritten another folder etc.
The original folder of Modern Conflicts was not changed because I am glad that it works

				Hallo Akkula, hallo Leute.
Hello Akkula, hello folks.
I think to bring a whole "operation / campaign" or the whole Russian - Ukrainian war into a mod for MdC, should really wait for the "result". At the moment there is too much lying or working with "half-truths" for my taste (FROM BOTH SIDES).
And that definitely makes it "political". Which we rightly don't want here.
But the mod as a whole is simply wonderful so far.
Thank you and keep up the good work Akkula.
Greetings Hans
